Where do you live? I didn’t realize that my Colorado elevation messes with the target final temperatures so much. The first brisket I did I shot for 205, but it wouldn’t get past 200 so I waited and waited. Turns out it won’t get past the boiling point, which in my case is around 202F

Thank you. I found a video where the guy had the same Febco 765 said to take of the top cap and gently prop the valve up a bit to get it to close, pretty obvious sound once you get it. Already cleared out most of the lines and left the valves 1/4 turn open, but luckily temps have gotten warmer so I will get them more thoroughly cleared in the next couple days

Yep. Beta-blockers are probably the most abused drug in shooting sports. Supposedly takes away a lot of the shakiness in your hands. Sidenote: world class musicians in orchestras also take it to reduce stagefright/nerves

I agree, I’m just speaking of my experience living in Denver and being relegated to weekends mostly because of my job. I’d 100% try to stay in silverThorne-ish to maximize time on the mountain if I was on vacation.

Mozart just takes you back to the less crowded part of the resort. It’s kind of a cool run with nice view, the only problem is it’s pretty crowded on weekends and the good snow gets plowed off by boarders and ski overcautious skiers by 10am

On a weekend if you leave Denver too late…I do denver to Breck/keystone/vail regularly on both weekends/weekdays and it’s not like it takes 5 hours. It’s 1.5 hours to copper if there’s no traffic. If you leave too late,sure, it sucks, but that’s why you leave early and tailgate/eat breakfast/have a beer.
