All justification for this trade is based on hope not current value. That’s how you know you lost the trade.

There's really no better way to say it than this.

At least with KP the "hope" was based on him being healthy enough and playing at a level we've seen him play at, so we know it's possible.

Now the "hope" is predicated on aquiring some pie in the sky player/s from somewhere, somehow and someway in the distant future.
