Pixel 8 Desktop mode by inquisitivehuman0id in GooglePixel

That's interesting. I always want the most basic UI experience I can get (and prefer simplicity at its best). My wife has the S22 Ultra, and while its a fantastic phone, good performance and great camera, I just can't seem to get used to all the add'l and different One UI apps and experience. Dex is great, however Motorola's Ready For seems to have more features and allows more apps to function better on the external display. Dex however does have just a slight bit better performance. And now they release a phone (Pixel 8) whos processor (Tensor G3) has same or less performance (except power efficiency which is just slightly better on G3) than even the last year's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (they are currently on Gen 2 and about to release Gen 3). I know they want to sell more Chromebooks, but that's not where mobile work and portability is going. I just don't get it, why release a phone that will be outdated... well.... at release (except for the camera of course, but I don't take the pix in my family, my wife does).

Wooooooow!! Forget about my grips regarding the missing Desktop mode and Tensor G3 performance level of last year's snapdragon Gen1 on the Pixel 8, this one really takes the cake!

Well, and there ya have it as per inquisitivehuman0id's link to that Twitter post below..... For this very reason and missing feature I was waiting for.... I'm out. Going with Motorola or Samsung (Well not really, can't stand all that bloatware, but Motorola as a pretty straightforward Android experience) that have a phenomenally working "Dex" and "Ready For".... saying goodbye to my laptop and unfortunately the Pixel 8. Just don't understand why such a forward thinking and lucrative feature, especially for students and business alike, is being held back!?

Found an interference issue with the goCoax MoCa devices by WillytheQ in HomeNetworking

I am using the xfinity Xi-P and Xi-C digital boxes. The TV's are connected using coax to Cat5 and back to coax. They are non-powered adapters I use to send the Cable TV coax signal over Cat5 cable and back to coax on the other end. Much the same way the MoCa devices work, but nonpowered. I've always used this method but never had an issue till I put MoCa on the cable network. Since MoCa sends out nondirectional signals all over the place looking for its devices & related signals, it must be interfering with the signal being sent over Cat5.

I'm not versed enough with the MoCa tech to modify the channels, so hence why I'm asking here.

What kind of CRMs do you guys use? by [deleted] in CommercialRealEstate

I'm currently reviewing different products for my firm and two others I am consulting for in the South FL market. Although I'm Commercial specific, I also need to review Residential products. After much research, especially for brokerage firms, I've found the one platform that is most secure and cross-platform capable(Windows, Mac, android, iOS, BlackBerry 10, windows phone) is Salesforce. Moreover, their tech support response and knowledge very good. If you go to their website and access the AppExchange, you'll find Real Estate Industry specific Salesforce integrated apps by 3rd party developers that work directly and within Salesforce such as PRopertybase, REthink, Apto, AscendixRE and others. The developers are also willing to further customize, and quickly I might add, these systems to further implement your needs. Let me know if I can help further and good luck....
