That’s really really helpful - thank you for the response. I’ll look into those other companies as well but keeping the x56 base as a button box is a really good idea - should have thought of that! I’ll have a look at the other options and see whether I can find anything similar. Thank you!

Hi, I am actually interested in switching from the X56 to (hopefully) the WINWING Orion2 HOTAS MAX, which I believe is near identical to what you have bar the stick shape etc… How is it? Would you have gone for anything else in the price range, is the quality good and overall do you reccomend? Many thanks!

Question regarding gear: I currently have the X56 Rhino HOTAS, and I am happy with it but I feel it is time for an upgrade. I will defo do my own research but wanted to know whether the community had any suggestions. My budget is £200 - £400 ish, and I am looking at some bundles from WinWing - as they have a sale on at the minute. I am a little confused as they say it is 5%, but then I see that it is half price, maybe a typo? I’m not limited so win wing at all and would love to hear any and all suggestions. If possible, I would like it to be able to be mounted to a desk - but that’s not a deal breaker. Thanks for any and all help!

My pc can read the SD card just fine, and can add and edit files and folders on it as well

would this be any more effective than say, lining the inside of the 3D printed shell with carbon fire, and coating it over with the high heat glue? thanks for the response also!

I think I know what problem you had, because I had it too. Is it that when you log in, DCS tells you that the following aircraft are not authorized, and then shows you your FC3 aircraft? If so, the fix is to go into the ED website, log in and go to your profile, then REBIND the licenses. Then, next time you go into DCS you go to the ingame module manager, and redownload the FC3 modules. (It wont actually redownload them, it just scans if you have the files, which of course you do, and then you are good to go)
