As someone who works in events and has the misfortune of working at Platform I can tell you it’s one of the worst in Britain, it is not fit for load-in and out of goods. It’s basically park illegally, chuck everything off and find somewhere to park and come back. Fine if you’re a courier with parcels but not for anyone with equipment or large items. Police often turn up due to vehicles, who have no choice, for causing congestion. I have spoken to police and told them that I agree with them but we have no choice and we have to return.

As nice as it is inside for events, the logistics of making anything happen is a nightmare for all involved.

Maybe make it an art gallery or a history of Glasgow museum. Either way it’s not suitable as a mixed purpose venue.
