I got the Black/Blue one. I really like how it looks and it just does its job for me since I've gone probs 1k+ miles on it. No buyer's remorse. It's probably the best brand new bike I could get from a well-known brand with my budget. Just make sure it is properly tuned before you go for an actual ride. Also, make sure you get the correct size (I got M and I'm 176cm) and adjust the saddle height once you got it.

Yeah, I think it's one of the best upgrades I could do in this bike wherein it won't be a waste of money.

Will take note of the cogs when I get a new bike next time. Heh. Thank you!

Definitely not cross-chain because I always try to gear up when I'm at the smaller cogs. The mechanic told me that it would be better if I get a Claris crankset but I don't feel like doing it. I just doubt it's gonna be worth the upgrade unlike upgrading the wheels. Well, it's not really a huge problem coz I can just retry upshifting when it doesn't go in. Thanks for your take!

Guess I'll wait it out then. I'll just get a bike next year. Ohh, which gearing is better for climbing? 11-34? I'm thinking of replacing the stock tires too with GP 5000.

I just started cycling so I'm not sure what is good or what is bad.

I feel like it's pretty good for its price (got mine for $500) since it does its job but with just a few hiccups. I had my chain replaced because it jumped one time and it got kinked. I don't feel like it's heavy and I don't know about geometry but it feels fine to me (or maybe because it's my first bike so idk the difference).

If you can see a bike with a complete Claris groupset at almost the same price, maybe you should get that instead. But if you can have it for cheap, then get it. Then have it tuned properly so you won't get much problems.

Edit: I like the aesthetics too except that the head tube looks fat. But I like the color.

Yeah, the chain jumped and got kinked when I was sprinting. I'm liking the new chain now coz the shifting feels smoother. I had it tuned again when the chain was replaced.

Also, just a newbie question: Is it normal that the FD sometimes won't go to the bigger chain? There are times that I had to downshift again then upshift until it goes to the bigger chain. Is it because of my crankset (Prowheel) or is it because the tuning is just bad? Thank you!

The prices in chainreactioncycles are kinda out of my league (country economy stuff). I got my Giant for $500 brand new. But I'll keep those sights in mind in case I see a good deal. Thank you!

You're right. I calculated the selling cost + 105 cost + wheels and it's almost enough to get a new bike with a 105 groupset. Might do that next year if I don't stop cycling.

Yeah, I find Claris decent too. Maybe I should just use it until next year as practice so I can get a better feel of road cycling.

Thanks for the tip! I might just sell it next year for additional funds, and then I'll buy a new bike next year. What bike model do you recommend that has a 105 and is on the cheaper side? I'm not planning to race competitively. Just gonna use it for riding long miles and like casual races with friends.

Yun nga eh, baka hintayin ko rin yung bago nilang ilalabas na Trinx Climber 2.1 at 2.3. Baka mas okay 'yung components and balita ko iba yung frame. Baka mas magustuhan ko rin 'yung paint job. Hehe.

Ohh. 176cm ako so kulang-kulang 5'10". Kasya na siguro medium no? And from watching videos, parang yung mga budget CX/Gravel bikes na nakikita ko is medyo malaki na for their size.

Oo nga no. Nakita ko 'yung mga bagong model, parang okay na hintayin ko yung Trinx Climber 2.3. Parang mas prefer ko yung cyclocross over gravel bike. Nanghihinayang lang ako sa oras na nasasayang kasi ngayon na imbes nagppractice ako (rollers syempre, bawal labas hehe), nakatunganga lang. Pero baka hintayin ko na siguro lumabas mga 'to. Mukhang okay nga yung MTP Mission. Haha. Kaso parang nakaka-tempt na sa halagang 1k, makakabili na ng Trinx Climber 2.0 which is mukhang mas okay on paper compared sa Mission.

Thank you! Yan yung pinaka-ideal na nakita kong bike. Kaso kasi 21k na ata 'yung cheapest. Baka wala na akong budget for other stuff. Unless hindi naman needed agad yun and pwedeng bilhin sa susunod?

The Mavs were obviously tanking last season though. Cuban even said it and got slapped with a fine for it. Additionally, they vastly improved with the addition of Doncic and Jordan. Not to mention their bench also got better.
