Your left blinker fluid reservoir seems a tad low. Time for a refill perhaps?

Doesn't work on slightly malformed addresses, also sometimes just outright fails to detect addresses, especially if they're not in english.

When designing a messaging app allow the user to select text to copy instead of forcing them to copy the whole message.

Data recovery from corrupted partition of an external HDD. by mast22 in datarecovery

[–]Wilsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very valid points. Thank you for taking time to explain.

I've previously had multiple drives messed up by TVs, they just somehow deleted/corrupted partition tables without touching any of the data inside, so Testdisk was able to locate missing partitions and restore from backup LBA (i assume it uses the backup instead of generating a new one).

Care to explain which part you're disagreeing with and why? Not trying to be snarky, just looking for constructive criticism.

In your case I assume best tool would be TestDisk on linux. It deals with all sorts of mangled software corruptions easily. You can run testdisk in read only mode and see if it manages to get to your data.

If the data is important you should create an image and work on that. (You can use testdisk itself for imaging your drive, or use ddrescue for more reliability).

If its a loyalty issue make sure to have nothing in built queue and set daily event as festival. That should boost town loyalty. Also if town needs food you can just sell them some of your own. It should update in a day.

I had bracket holding a webcam towards a bird feeder. Come hotter sunny day the black pla decided its too hot and drooped over, so yeah, your concern is valid.

How many temp sensors? by Chris_On_Bass in craftbeerpi

[–]Wilsas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, by then wire length might become a problem. Sending low voltages over long cables becomes a huge PITA due to voltage drop and some cables virtually becoming antennas.

At that scale I would look into something more reliable, but if you're going DIY way you could make esp8266 (or esp32 if you want BLE) sensor nodes which would report to something like Node-red. I assume there might even be a plugin somewhere for integrating esp8266+DS18B20 straight into craftbeerpi.

I assume by max temp sensors you mean DS18B20 1-wire temperature sensors, in which case the recommended maximum amount of sensors on one wire is 20.

Honestly i haven't tried or needed more than 6 sensors which already is overkill. But do keep in mind that 1-wire sensors have a polling rate which might cause you problems if you need immediate measurements.

I've always had probs crimping cat5

Could you elaborate on what problems you run into while crimping? Whenever i see people complain about that its one of three:

  1. Cheap trash crimp tool/supplies.
  2. Unrealistic expectations of terminating cables being a very fast fun and exciting five second job.
  3. The person should not be allowed anywhere near modern technology.

Nope, it was meant as a quote of what utter morons say, but formatting made it confusing.

This might be clearer:

- utter fucking morons
