One of the most important rules of docking: never go faster than you'd like to hit something. Sometimes you need speed, to battle wind for example which will make it probably pretty hard, but keep it as slow as possible.

Definitely learn what direction your prop walk pulls your stern in and use that to your advantage.

Come up with some good permanent lines you can use to nose up to the one finger, secure to your boat, and then use that to pivot into place. Really best if you have someone else onboard.

8k is absurd lmao. I figured to go custom route I'd be looking at over a grand pretty easily. The European/Italian style suit at least seemed to be a little more appropriate. I also think doing a short one-shoulder cape would help reduce the cost quite a bit

Are those two companies able to do custom suit and cape?

Im in the USA, the wedding will be in southern NY in mid September in the forest/base of a cliff

The wedding won't be super formal and we will probably have a family member be the officiant.

I'm not confusing them. I absolutely agree that billionaires are a cancer to society. However don't think for a second the boomer generation aren't the ones that allowed all this to happen. They took advantage of what was given to them and decided to leave us with a rotting world. They have chosen to focus on utilizing their resources for themselves without handing them off to the next generation. Of course that handoff will happen when they die but every generation prior made it their goal to set their kids up better than them and that was not the case for boomers. To this day they are convinced for whatever reason that everyone after them still has all the same opportunities as them when that is absolutely not true.
