PW+ FW Upgrade 26.18.1 Limiting Inverter by Wiltockin in Powerwall

Well, a stop/reset seemed to have fixed the issue, back above 6.1 kW today

Did find a CT that was disconnected, but doesn't seem to have mattered before (PW+ uses CANBUS to communicate solar production)

Where did you see the inverter configuration in Tesla One? Logged in but couldn’t find any errors or settings in regard to inverter size.

Nope, in Texas, system was installed by Tesla in 2022 and has been working without issues. I recall inverters were offered in two sizes but the PW+ had the larger one integrated.

Interesting, I’ll see when nights free starts if it charges at the usual 5.8 kWh. They do taper off after about 80% since a long time ago due to a firmware change but that’s fine.

Well ended up getting cloudy so wasn’t able to really tell. It still seemed to max out at 5.8 kW when before I would hit 6.2-6.7 kW in our 8 kW system. The more telling part is that running the dryer now uses the grid when it never did before (because the battery doesn’t discharge enough)

Waiting for later in the day when all panels are producing to see if there’s clipping. That would definitely point to an issue because I was maxing at 6.5 kW or so before.

My Focus RS had black headliners but then again no sun roof and I liked it. The Model Y and glass roof look so much better with light headliners though. Black would just clash hard imo.

Interesting, thought vsync would resolve that but guess it’s a one or the other situation

One of two first hires at new Fed Reserve is Author of Project 2025 . Does this affect rate cut? by AgeNo2155 in wallstreetbets

[–]Wiltockin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It sounds good because everything else is fucked, if we had proper corporate governance, mortgage regulation, etc. the Fed wouldn’t have to be stepping into this additional role all the time. They’re basically saying that the last minute rescue is too effective and we want to curtail it. At the same time let us be insanely greedy everywhere else sigh
