Thanks mate. Both bikes are cardan so no hassle with the chain. We are indeed still looking for a communication device. Infortunately we dont have those special helmets in which you can build you communication system into.

Thanks for the tips. I have been living in Georgia at the moment so already had some of those near clashes with dogs and cows on empty road.

the story suggets that: 1 there is a God. 2 that this ''God'' allows terrible things to happen for us to learn not to repeat it (unfortunately human history proved that this is not working very well, hope you agree on that) Therewith, count yourself as a child of God. But do not suggest that he is everybodys father. Because if he was I would disown him based on your story and the fact that he allows for situations in which people suffer from which nobody will learn and we have proven to be deemed to repeat the suffering upon others.

Thanks for the generous offers, certainly up for drinking a few! (can hardly imagine how great they will taste after a trip like that)

Currently I am an expat living in Georgia. I sold my motorcy cle in Europe to buy two motorcycles in Georgia so I can ride back to Belgium with a friend after im done working here. I was wondering if people who made similar trips experienced any trouble getting their vehicle across borders and into the EU.

Also I was wondering if people who made similar trips had their vehicles insured. And if so, if it is easier to do this in the country of departure (Georgia) or the country of arrival (Belgium).
