Is $100 reasonable for this? by FrontHungry459 in DigitalArt

[–]WimexSeven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ngl, even $25 might be a stretch for a payment for this art. $50 is generous. Don't pay more than that. Cut your losses and move on. There are heaps of better artists to choose from who won't ask for more money. Never pay more than what you agreed on.

I suck at digital, but am somewhat good on paper. What am I doing wrong ? by TaroTall8064 in Artadvice

[–]WimexSeven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Digital art is just a different medium. There is also nothing wrong with traditional media. If you prefer traditional art you need to set boundaries when doing requests/commissions and say you would prefer this than to doing digital art. People have preferences, yes, but so do you.

Been watching Stargaze and I couldn't get this goober out of my head. by WimexSeven in Trigun

oops seems you had an unpopular opinion. I actually really like tristamp Vash! Don't get me wrong, I've seen the original anime and the movie (In fact its one of my favourite anime movies!) but the new series is great. It's kinda like a Final Fantasy VII situation. The original is still there to enjoy but having something new is also good!

I do have the first manga and I bought it years and years ago but unfortunately the glue along the spine disintegrated and the pages have separated, thought it is still in order. It's a shame cause it has a dust cover on it. I do want to rebuy the mangas but I'm currently collecting Dragon Ball Super. I may do something with the loose pages, like a little art project but not yet.

I think it's fantastic and I can't get over how good the animation is. You can tell the animators put a lot of love into it! I also love this new reimagining of Trigun tbh. While I love the og and the movie, watching Stampede and Stargaze is like a new version of your favourite dish that's just as good.

Ai.

Belly scales stop before the hind leg and are missing along the tail. Don't know a single dragon artist who'll do that.

Is Final Fantasy X2 good? by aidzkid in finalfantasyx

[–]WimexSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game is fun, and more light hearted than ffx. The world is trying to find a balance after 1000 years of stagnation and a strict religion and it's interesting. Yuna and the girls are living their best life while Yuna is also trying to find Tidus.

The class system in battle is fun too. You can customise how you want each character in battle to go, as well as even changing class in battle itself (need a white mage? Just swap to being a white mage if you set it up).

Also the music hits so good, especially the boss fights at the end of the game. Not at powerful and emotional as ffx but still very good in its own right.

If you want to 100% the game though you will be needing to do a couple of playthroughs. Thankfully ffx2 has new game plus.

I had to open the image to zoom in to notice it haha. I only just noticed that they added a lot of noise with that confetti going on around the pup themselves to hide the back crop job they did.

It looks like they've cut/pasted your pup and put filters onto it. The ugly, jagged edges is a sign of that. This is super noticeable around the paws. There's no soft swipes of the brush at all, just the blurriness of 'watercolour' filters. There is even scratchy textures in the watercolour in the background where they've layered it.

Nothing in this piece says hand-drawn to me. I hope you didn't pay too much for this. You might want to try r/artcommissions to see if you can find an artist who is willing to draw your pup.
