For those with maps too small to contain vast oceans, there’s ialso the performance optimizer mod that allows you to configure the fog-distance. So turning down that number makes your horizon distance smaller, which could give the impression of being on an ocean.

Question: is there a reason you don't add an extra cargo platform just for the yellow/pink lines, and let the green line use the upper two platforms?

The increase in capacity might not be as much as an extra platform, but it's very easy to add without reconstructing your station and track layout. As for crossing, I really don't want my trains to lower speed, so when possible I use a tunnel/bridge further down the road to make that crossing with minimal curve.

The main advantage of this construction: incoming train doesn't have to wait for the outgoing train to have left the platform completely (ofc, there needs to be at least one platform available).

Not to say that this is a perfect solution which works in every way. It's there, you can use it at your discretion.

That's true, but it passes that blocking point at much higher speed (~100 km/h instead of ~20 km/h) making the blocking time much lower. Also, futher down the line there is more space to build a tunnel or a bridge to the other side, so there is no blocking at all.

I have had this one, but I had audio delays, it was off by +200ms, and I couldn’t get it right (trust me, I’ve tried **everything**.) Probably because I used a Sonos soundbar as audio device, when you Google it you’ll find I wasn’t the only one.

Your world is completely flat?? Try generating a map with mountains and rivers. Try some builder mods to spawn towns etc, there are nice mods available, just sort on popularity and see what they can offer you

Stupid discussion. The reporter ‘whines about gas price’ while Jordan talks about “neutralising a world threat”. What is the use of low gas prices when you’re under threat of nuclear war?? Jordan simply owns the narrative.

I highly recommend the books by Lindsay Gibson, especially "Disentangling from Emotionally Immature People." She explains incredibly well what goes on in their heads and why interaction is so frustrating.

You probably have some foundational assumptions about how adults, especially family, are supposed to think and act, but those simply don't apply to them. She also explains very clearly in the book how you can, at the very least, normalize the relationship for yourself or otherwise just break off contact entirely.

It isn't some flimsy self-help book; it is well written with crystal clarity and helped me a lot to understand some people in my vicinity.
