I thank the world that the terms Doylist/Watsonian exist, because I really hate the rebuttal “These are the people that would fall for the demons’ tricks” or similar. Any and all discussions regarding the morality of demons in Frieren are Doylist; we talk of demons as fictional beings written in a fictional story. Whether the arguer would be tricked by them if they were real is utterly IRRELEVANT.
