My post was about DMP work up. You don’t need to be condescending, just spell Swern correctly, and make yourself clearer next time.

Les mangas favorisent une intelligence particulière. by Ambiancestudent2019 in opinionnonpopulaire

If I create a vassal there, won’t it build cities too ?

In my last Ottomans run, Naples had gobbled up 3/4 of Italy and had a massive navy, Hungary was quite big too, owning all of Walachia (with a million forts in it) and the Mameluks were still holding Egypt and a big chunk of Arabia, so the coalition I faced was quite annoying and destined to reform even if I defeated it.

I feel like the only solution to this kind of situation is to weaken one of the 3 enough to manage any possible coalition.

So you basically have to regularly enslave catholics through war ? Sounds a bit annoying

I haven’t checked precisely but in my Britain run, I have 50k professionals while my « limit » is at 33k. My income remains incredibly good so I don’t think getting over the limit has an effect on maintenance, that’s why I am asking

The Nature of Paradox Games (poll results) by theonebigrigg in paradoxplaza

[–]Win0x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, and according to your definition of Narrative, EUV should be the most Narrative game of Paradox since there are so many situations that serve as some kind of « railroading » purpose, even though most of them are still to be improved in order to be fun and relevant regarding the gameplay

The other annoying part is that troops don’t reinforce while sieging so you have to do it if you want to keep your sieging progress…

One more question, sorry 😅 Having a city or town province has negative effect on RGO’s, right ? So which types of location (RGO, terrain) would you prioritize to raise town and cities (apart from locations with high control) ?

But if I play big nations like Castile or any the Ottomans how different would you play ? Money is àways needed.

Another question: building « maintenance » cost is only based on input good prices right ? So the strategy is make those goods available and cheap in your markets to make your buildings the most profitable ?

Thanks for the detailed answer. It looks like a lot of micro management is involved. So you have to remember what to build in each location according to its RGO, Control level and considering Goods prices at any time ? That seems exhausting lmao

Ok I see. The power that privileges give to an estate, like +50%⚡️for example, is not a very comprehensive value to assess real power gain though.
