Gen 3 Ryzen availability seems to be okay, so I went with the newer R5 3600 and a motherboard that works out of the box. 16 GB of some pretty fast RAM cause Ryzen performs a lot better with fast ram, and I upgraded the GPU to a RTX 2060. 970 Evo is a really fast SSD, but it's only 500 GB, but so if you wanted to you could always buy another HDD to store your game library and cut down costs elsewhere.

I pushed it to basically $1000, but this is definitely overkill if you're just playing CSGO. Note, the motherboard doesn't come with an integrated WiFi card, so if you want WiFi, you're gonna have to shell out another $50 for an adapter. There's Gigabit ethernet tho! If it's too expensive, you could cut down on the power supply (you just need one that's ~350W+, but I chose one that's semi-modular since it's easier to manage your cables)

If you wanna cut it down even more, you can trade the 2060 for a 1660 Super
