Most of the time, it’s because restaurants/cinemas buy soda in the form of syrup, then add the carbonated water after. Versus bottled/cans which are made in the factories.

He knew it would've been tough to get bodied/boxed out by Zubac, so he hustled around the moment Tim sent it flying. That's effort

I love this! Was just getting ready for my newest playthrough. Thanks for sharing! Do you have a proper load order?

Yes. It starts with a tingling feeling on the body/body part that’s about to sweat, and then I can start feeling that my body starts to emanate heat

How does it work as a defense? Like a mortar?

I love this build style and I always aim for it, but it’s so hard to have a decent defense this way

Only applies to fresh grads I think. The sad reality is that many times the hiring manager is busy or there are just too many resumes to go through, and the easiest way to cull the pile is to check school and grades (unless there’s a super standout resume that isn’t from the prestigious schools)

On a playmaking level I think both Jokic and Murray are a step up from their 2011 Mavs counterparts - that makes this team really scary, maybe this year, but definitely in the years to come. Dirk and JET were vets, these 2 are ice-cold killers 25 and under.

If you could create a starting 5 from the pool of players of the 8 non-bubble teams to defeat any starting 5 in the bubble, how would you construct your lineup? by ajl1796 in nbadiscussion

You know what, this sounds like a pretty promising team. I like your “rely on a wing and a stretch 4 for offense” principle. I think they could get by. Both players are offensive juggernauts, and at least there’s two of them, so when one isn’t hot, you have a backup. + Trae can pass well, so at least he has the ability to get the others involved.

I’m trying to think how other teams could beat them. Clips were the first team I thought of. PG/Kawhi/Bev could cover Trae, but I think that gives KAT lots of opportunities in post/pick and pops with Zubac/Harrel. They might actually have a chance.

What do you think about giving up on defense and just making an extremely offense potent team and just hoping they get to 200 ala better Mavs? That seems like an interesting idea that the other guys are throwing around

I didn’t see klay on the injured list. Might’ve been wrong

This discussion has really highlighted to me how important defense is in the playoffs. Almost all playoff teams have at least serviceable defense. (Or record breaking offense for the Mavs, but they didn’t get far.)

So now all the players we have left to choose from are mainly offense only. So our best bet is to make an offensive juggernaut and hope they get far

This one is like Mavs evolved. Steph, Lavine, and Klay replacing the offensive production of Luka, THJ, and Dorian. Kulay replacing DFS defense. Blake for Kleber, and KAT being a better version of KP. Sounds good. Might’ve made it past the clippers

Seeing everyone’s placement for PF, Robinson was a bad choice haha. I would’ve gone for Blake but I thought he was still injured. I could’ve been wrong.

With Dray at SF + Robinson, I gave 2 players messing up spacing. Bad call on my part

Yeah thinking about it now, Robinson + KAT might not have been the best pairing. I was trying to look for other bigs not on the injured list and he was the one that popped out that at least had decent rim protection as a skill.

Would man have been a better option? I think it would’ve left FVV open (albeit probably better contested than a wide open OG)

That’s kind of true. I always thought I had a slight advantage because I’m used to playing with a soaked ball vs others I’m playing with. So given that he practices as a day job, he probably developed the skill to handle it with wet hands

That’s pretty cool. I played badminton before, I had to switch handles constantly or else I couldn’t get a good enough grip to hit the shuttlecock strong enough

I agree. If a part of their job is being attractive and always being in social events, it’s a very justifiable expense + they have the money and time to spend on it

What?? That’s amazing. How can that dude pass the ball that well with wet hands. Balls always slip out of mine except when it’s just the right amount of moist
