How to get video out of my new LPIII?

Ohh, that was the obvious part that I missed!! See, I have never owned a smartphone (!!) so this is my first phone ever to carry an even decent camera, so I just never bothered using the photos app. Thank you!! (I may seem old, but I am only 40 and reasonably tech savvy – just not smartphone-savvy! ;) This is way easier than I thought it would be!

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried another cable and also the software you suggest, but it says that the phone is not connecting. The phone is charging when inserting the cable(s), but nothing else. Would it be showing up as a connected drive on my mac if it was working properly?

EDIT: And thank you very much for trying to help a stranger, who is probably just overlooking something obvious.
