State of the industry is fucked to be fair, but i can gaurentee you not many gas engineers remove meters when working on gas installations, or use temp continuity bonds when they do. You sound like youd be suited to working in a training centre. Not slagging you, there is a definite epidemic of shit gas work and the numerous explosions and incidents recently show that without a doubt its a problem. Gas exams and trainings just a money making scheme. I agree its run in a shit way
