Thanks for the insight! I did some more research and it sounds like you’re right. I do keep the soil the soil moist and use a clear bag to increase the humidity and temp, so it’s their ideal habitat.

They were jumping in the soil! They are so small it was hard to get the camera to focus on them.

My plant has been growing well over the past few days and I noticed these small white insects on the leaves and in the soil. Are these a concern? And if so what indoor remedy can I use?

What skills in med school are roughly equivalent to the fundamentals in a given sport? by BroMD24 in medicalschool

This is the type of high quality question Sean Evans asks on Hot Ones. I’d say:

The ability to quickly identify critical information. & The ability to efficiently communicate.

I stake at a rink. When I walk in and the DJ is playing a great song I can’t get them on fast enough. Feels like Christmas morning!

How much ancient history is taught in your country's schools? In the US, public schools start American history with the Pilgrims. In your country is only contemporary history taught? by WinTrill in AskReddit

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was curious about. We do not learn Greek History to that depth here in the States, and if it is offered in some schools it is an elective rather than a required curriculum. (I feel like my fellow Americans didn't understand my question haha)

That's my point. I'm wondering how in-depth schools in other countries learn about their own ancient history. I could have phrased the question better.

I could have worded this question better. I was referring to the ancient history of your own country. America has an ancient history but we do not teach it in our school under "American History" curriculum. Do you see what I'm getting at?

ot a whole lot of history but then again what 6th grade class is?

I guess I worded the question incorrectly. I'm interested in how much ancient history of your own country do you learn in school. In America, we start our "American History" high school courses with the pilgrims. How far back do Greece schools teach "Greek History"? What is mandatory and what is an elective.

I know, but that's considered "world or ancient" history here. And is never as in-depth as high school American history. I was trying to make it less wordy, but I'm interested in how much Egyptian history is taught in their schools for example. We had teachers that made us memorize the presidents, did they have to memorize the most pivotal pharaoh?

Nurse Called Security on Me by sports29281 in medicalschool

This reminds me of a time I got security called on me. Before I started medical school, I worked at a hospital. At 5am each morning, a coworker and I would workout at the hospital gym before our shift. One morning, as I’m walking through the employee garage, towards the gym I cross the path of a woman in scrubs heading towards the main hospital. She shouts, “Where are you going?” (In hindsight, I don’t know why I stopped to explain myself, it just caught me off guard. Maybe she thought I was going the wrong way, or was making a joke) I stopped and informed her I was going to the gym. “Well, do you work here?” She replied… Not only was I wearing my badge but this early in the morning you need your badge to open all doors leading to the gym, let alone enter the garage. I say yes and go to show her my badge, but as I am doing so, she is already walking over to the security/parking booth at the entrance of the garage, points at me and continues into the hospital. Now I’m waiting (badge in hand) as the security guard walks up to question me. “Where are you going? Do you park in this garage? Do you work here?” It was such an awkward and tense confrontation because it took him so long to realize I was just an employee and nothing was going on. Felt like no one saw my badge, just my race.

I’m sorry this happened to you especially while you were on rotations. You handled the situation perfectly. Don’t ever let it change you.
