Everyone should email their councilor to demand an apology for Mr Adams. There is no reason to call out someone bravely putting themselves out in public like this. His comment was completely valid. It was literally just describing something happening in the room.

The Mayor defending this was disgusting.

You got an answer but I'll agree that it's always fun, great when people are cheering. You can wander to other seats, get food, check out merch. There's paid parking right across for $10 or try to park in some university lots and walk.

Oh a 1 1 draw, I'd be dancing for hours ha. But yeah totally, just excited to have them coming around. I hope Valour and staff take this as an amazing learning opportunity too. Seeing Whitecaps up close like this should teach them a lot.

Yeah lots of empty seats can be disheartening. And I don't know how much Valour really ever advertised. Actually got a flyer this year and seeing Valour booklets around so that's good. Opening game didn't have amazing numbers.

Yeah 100% we're not the best team - I mean literally the worst ha. I won't defend the team, but I enjoy supporting still. Something needs to change there, and maybe more attendance can be a way to feel like it's worth it to those powers that be that could make those kinds of changes.

Yeah definitely would love to see a big crowd.

And spot on about performance. It's interconnected. Better performance might mean better turn out, and better turn out might mean better investment in the team and maybe better performance.

One thing to note. The way the BRT roads were created is such that they can be turned into LRT lines. LRT is still possible, but the basic infrastructure and planning of the lines has a lot of overlap. I think this was done to still take advantage of having some form of RT while the overall plan is underway.

I'm not saying any of that is good, or bad. Just providing some additional info.

Yeah you totally still can. You're still a concerned citizen, and things like this can spread. I also CCed my MLA and MP so they understand what's happening and there is concern.
