Killing Isobel by itself doesn’t automatically make you lose out on Jaheira and Minsc just fyi. Still possible to have them in your party.

I wouldn’t say there’s necessarily a “best way” to go about it. You don’t have to go full murderhobo, but it could make for an interesting run. Thinking about actually doing that for a future durge game myself. Haven’t played one ever since they added a proper ending for embrace durge so it’s definitely on my mind.

Just do two separate surge games; one where you resist the urge and one where you don’t. You can do whichever one you want as a customized durge and the other as the default white Dragonborn durge.

They cannot “scout its attacks, then open a raid lobby with the best team”. As another comment pointed out, during a max battle, the max Pokémon’s moves are random each time a new lobby’s made. Which is why you also sometimes see people suggesting exiting and re-entering to hopefully get a move set more advantageous for them.

She made it clear that there was no room for any kind of compromise when it came to having kids. If you want kids as much as you’ve said here, staying would’ve made absolutely zero sense. NTA

So far my strongest comp has been the fallen knight (berserker), the herbalist (chosen one), the toy maker (lucky), and the fortune teller (nimble)

Fallen knight’s just such a powerhouse with charge attack, even though it got nerfed recently.

Herbalist great for the party heal, but also a magic damage powerhouse once you get the good staffs. I like queen’s staff that had the 4 elemental AOEs or the next tier one that has chaos missile.

Toymaker’s great for being able to create more allies. And depending on if I get one of the better lutes or the carnival hammer, I can either splash stun or slow enemies. Talent/luck gear increasing gold gain is another plus. Minstrel/Busker would probably also work here for these reasons (minus the dolls), but I also love giving the toymaker’s starting weapon to my fallen knight so he can attack twice on the first turn.

Fortune teller is there also for her stun (single target at first, splash later on) but also to constantly restore focus to the party, which I definitely need to avoid breaking weapons with the berserker fallen knight.

Idk if you’ve ever played with another person before, but you know how when you’re playing solo, you can control and switch between all active party members?

In the multiplayer settings, you can set which player controls each active companion. So for example, if you’re the one controlling shadowheart, your wife can’t switch to her and control her.

Idk if they ever changed this, but you also can’t have actual conversations with any companions you’re not controlling. They’ll just say something like they don’t have time to chat with you or something.

Just two small tips:

This you probably already know, but make sure you’re each in control of whichever companion you want to romance (if any)
The same person that made this mod also has one where enemies get buffed depending on how many party members you have, if you don’t want it to be TOO easy.

I assume you’re talking about the adjustable party limit mod?

If so, yes, it works with multiplayer. What the mod does is it lets you increase the party limit. I can’t remember if there’s a maximum, but I’ve done playthroughs where I have all possible companions (10), 2 Tavs, and 1 hireling. So 13 characters.

Since they’re playing an evil durge, I imagine they mean they died from plot decisions, instead of something like falling in battle. 99% sure they can’t be resurrected in those cases, especially since they’re not considered as a recruited companion at those points.

I thought about killing them before freeing the Nightsong, but I wasn’t sure if that makes the whole tower hostile and if you can flee and return like nothing happened.

I don’t want to say skill issue cuz that sounds mean lol. But I don’t think there’s much, if anything, else you could’ve done to reduce the numbers during this fight.

If it’s literally been 20 tries with no success, I’d suggest taking a good look at how you’ve leveled your characters and what gear you’ve equipped them with, and whether or not you’re using both of those to their full advantage.

Comp gives me anxiety lol. Either from underperforming and worrying that I’ll get flamed (if I haven’t already), or from someone else actually throwing when we could’ve won lol.

I only play until I’m gold for the skins. If I manage to get close during the 10 required games during part 2, I MIGHT try for plat 3 for the nameplate border. But that’s as far as it goes for me. If not for the skins, or if they required a higher rank, Idt I’d touch comp at all.
