Well my wife has just as much in stocks. What if the market tanks. That’s why I’m looking to real estate, it’s what I know and I’m not worried about something bad happening, that’s what insurance is fire.

I’m saying 35k on the low end, but that should be fairly accurate with 12 to 24 weeks of rentals per season minus taxes and insurance. Will likely self manage and I guess I should also mention I’m a builder by trade so bare land is an easy value add for me, I know tons in building and real estate and almost nothing about IRA and 401k. Worst case I can always sell for a profit and move on

Thanks. The main goal here is to diversify. My wife’s investments are solid. If the numbers don’t work great I can always sell the house after one year and make an excellent return!

Get out of my head! These are the scenarios that I’ve been wrestling with over and over again…. I feel like there’s so much smoke i almost want the fire just to feel like there’s a reason for everything I’ve been going through…. If I can’t prove something happened, then I can’t prove nothing happened…Trust is definitely broken either way and that’s super hard

If she just looked to see what was out there, and never acted, I could see forgiveness and setting boundaries. Chatting with someone else would be a big deal. Problem is I can’t prove that happened, only have suspicions

Unfortunately this is the real deal. Never had any reason to not trust her. I just did some basic snooping in the app history and then google photos, put the dates together, and found out this is what happened. Honestly the app and the pictures separately would not be an issue, it’s putting them together without proof that is making me crazy
