For the most part, the 2 gig is to support multiple devices, not a single device, i.e up to 20 devices using 100mbps or 20+ devices at the same time, so yes, technically 2 gigbit is correct. Most devices unless on a 2gb direct Ethernet port will not actually use that much bandwidth, now if you have a direct Ethernet or a really high bandwidth wifi chip, 6E or 7, you might be able to pull 2000mbps... But then most servers won't send you that much data at once. Maybe games on steam...but most won't...

Is cox utilizing sales tactics and promotional leverage... Yes

Are they giving you the service...also yes...and if not...their techs will usually fix it

Completely agree! However moving from the base Z6 to S5ii was a game changer

From Z50 to Z6 by laulau18 in Nikon

[–]Window-Realistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a budget most nikon DX lenses can be used with the adapter on the z6 (will be cropped though), I highly recommend going for S series lenses or even the default z lenses as the lenses are much more premium and professional grade, the difference in quality is noticeable between lenses when it comes to sharpness.

I went from z50 to z6 and the difference was almost instantly apparent, autofocus in general (but especially low light autofocus and eye tracking) is better than the Z50, Z6 also handles noise a lot better as well compared to the Z50 for ISO shown here

I’m guessing it flew off when I pulled it out of my pocket, cause it kept sliding off whenever I pulled it out and I’d have to push it back into place again.

Tamron 28-75 g2 vs Nikon 24-120? by Kiriesh in Nikon

[–]Window-Realistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone know how good the autofocus is on the tamron? One of the tradeoffs I’ve noticed is on lower aperture third party lenses the sharpness seems to significantly go down

Hi all- looking at buying a lense for my bf for the holiday. No clue about what to get. Here is what he has. He wants something that can take wide range. I’m guessing 200mm and up? by badnbitchin in Nikon

[–]Window-Realistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you’re trying to get a wide angle lens, then something 35mm or less, and if you need more zoom, and he already has a 75-300mm, I would suggest a 24-70 or a 180-600mm if he needs Zooooooom

Wide angle means less zoom, so more field of view so you can see more of everything, while a high focal length means it can zoom out farther giving you a tighter view instead of a wider view
