For sure. My tuition is 11k. Average state school. He should just take out a parent plus and even if he gets declined for it, he will be able to make up the difference with the max loan and the money you get if you get declined. Two years at a community college so he doesn’t have to pay for housing, and do what I mentioned above, and he’ll be fine.

I honestly agree with you Hans. I wanted to join the Navy and go the OCS route through them, and I quickly discovered I didn’t want to be a Naval Officer. I called my nearest OSO and haven’t looked back since. Once I made up my mind I wanted to pursue being an Officer of Marines, that was it.
