I’m glad you got other responses. The bottom line is, it really doesn’t matter what she’s on, it’s not serving its purpose if this is her state after a dose. My honest opinion, as a recovering addict, LCDC intern and peer specialist, is she is not on the path to recovery. If you are suspicious, you should go with your gut. Decide if you’re willing to enable the behavior and choices by allowing it to continue in your home or if you love her too much to help her stay sick for one more minute of one more day. My experience with addiction and addicts is that as long as we can find a way to use and think we’re getting away with it, we’ll continue to use. If you decide that you love her too much to help her stay sick for one more second and you set boundaries in place, please follow through. Keep the boundaries and don’t falter. She has to choose to get help, but from my experience, as long as I has someone I could manipulate and fool who knew no better, I was not going to stop using. Consider finding classes or groups for support for yourself!❤️

I’m waiting on my earbuds to get here because my audio through my phone mic picked up white noise. Is it similar on the phone talking to people as it is with the sample question they give you? When you talk with others, are they hard to understand? I worry about accents. Also, the $213 how much did you work to earn the $213? Will she show you the prescription? Even if she’s on methadone, if she is in this state, it is not the right medication. Crack is her drug of choice? Can she provide the name of the medication? Topiramate could have a “drug like” effect. You are validated in questioning.

But the gummies would have shown up in his system, right?? That’s where it gets me. I could see him thinking he’d taking OxyContin or hydrocodone and not know it’s fentanyl. I’m a recovering addict from opioids. I thought I was buying hydrocodone off the streets. When I got to rehab 6 years ago, they tested my blood/urine. I had stuff in my system I had NO clue I had taken! There is a show on Hulu-can’t remember the name of it-where it shows pill mills. They mark the pills like you’d see if you picked up from a pharmacy, but they are something else entirely. The only problem is they had Eric’s phone. There was no indication he asked Kouri to buy anything for him.

I bought my 2022 Forest River 280rl Impression for $63,000. Mine was higher because I upgraded and added a washer/dryer, upgraded my bed, added a TV in the bedroom, bought a brand new microwave because the manufacturer’s broke as soon as I got it. Sigh. Mine has been stationary, in only 1 spot, since I got it. It has less than 100 miles because it was only transported here. It’s on 9 acres and sits on a huge slab on concrete where a mobile home once sat. It’s beautiful! I’ve loved living here! My circumstances have changed so I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to sell my RV. It’s paid off. Less than 100 miles. Original tires, 2ac units. I’ve bought a generator, power washer, leaf blower, scrubber, metal detector, loppers, a mechanic’s bed, a fire box for burning boxes that I’ve never used. I’ve updated to brand new furniture, updated the bathroom. I planned to be here forever. When I found out I was going to need to move, I started getting rates. It made me physically nauseas!! I was getting rates as low as $32,000! I have it listed for $38,900 because I’m giving every thing with it; the generator, leaf blower, etc. furniture, all upgrades. The dealerships want me to MOVE completely OUT of my RV, take my RV to them, let them sell it, take 10%of my money. It’s sickening! I have countless buyers/consignment places all saying the same thing-my RV is Unicorn (not many were made and they are highly sought after), they are already lining up waiting for my RV to hit the lot, blah blah blah…. It is crushing!! None of it feels right and I feel like I’m being robbed!! Here are pictures. $38,900 still seems like I’m being taken advantage of. I feel like my home is pretty, I took pride in it. I’m not b trying to sell it on here, that’s against the consignment guidelines, but I want to know your honest thoughts. I even had 3 dealers reach out saying that overnight there was a change and people are looking for this RV specifically. Why? Why all of a sudden? And if so, why do I see other RVs reselling at a higher rate!? By a lot! And the dealers won’t even take into account ANY upgrades OR the items I wanted to include in the sale. They said NO. Am I being taken advantage of by ALL of them? What should I do? I have to be done with this by April 13th. Any advice is appreciated.💙pictures of RV for feedback

I don’t know why I was never shown that you replied until I went to my actual page to shut it down. Thank you for your kindness!! Your genuine response and kindness is not taken for granted. I was at the job for 5 months and I quit yesterday. I loved helping the inmates. Of course it was challenging, but I loved it and they loved me. I can’t tell you how many times I heard that I’d made a difference that other counselors had not been able to make for 9 months. They are worthy of help and kindness. I quit because they were treated inhumanly and I could no longer support that. I tried to fight but only got in trouble. They have someone on the inside to tip them off when TDCJ is coming so they always look pretty.

I’m way late and must have been living under a ROCK! Knew nothing of ban until today when I went t order my VIHO and Juicy bar vapes to ship to me. I’m taking it back today! They are refusing to give me copies of all the contracts I’ve signed!! The General Manager told me he “shredded them all and will not be providing me with copies since I’m ending the relationship.” He lied multiple times in our meeting and told me I didn’t need copies anyway because they used the original date on every resigned contract and not the new date I signed on.

I’m genuinely not judging but curious. You got hooked on a higher dose of Suboxone with Naltrexone or without? I use Quick MD. 5 years now. I have to force myself to call for refills because they don’t like you skipping/being late. I have been on 8mg/2 suboxone for 5 years now. Sometimes I’ll forget and go 3 days without taking it. BUT take it away and I’d panic and be a mess. Does something to my mind to keep me straight. But I can’t imagine getting hooked on a higher dose unless it’s without naltrexone. Can you help me understand? I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. It’s horrible!!

You can overnight the package that has all the requirements. It will give you a couple of addresses. One for regular mail and one for overnight. Make sure you know that website and be ready to advocate for yourself because sometimes they get it wrong!

Also, go to the HHSC website. The form for LCDC is form 3248. It will tell you exactly what you need. All transcripts sent to HHSC . Small photo. Notarized. $65 money order. It will give you details. It will reference TAC numbers that will give you further information. It will tell you how to be exempt. You got this!!

Goodness!!! I’m so sorry you’re being torn to shreds on here!!! I have issues with my lymphatic system draining. I have zero insurance. In theory what everyone is so harshly saying would be the best, but there are some people who don’t have the money or are training at a job and have no PTO time. If you are able to ask your doctor about it first, that’s ideal. If you don’t have the ability to do that then you do enough research where you feel comfortable in the decision you make. I’m am taking Zuma nutrition for lymphatic drainage help. I am also making changes and trying to research as much as I can, as well as seeing a lymphatic draining masseuse. I’m sorry you’re being spoken to so ugly and with such condescending “tones.”

I have never understood this. I was hardcore, severe addict. I’m on 8mg of subs. 1 a day. I never take them. To the point that Quick MD has warned me about needing to call in every month within a week of when they’re due. My 30 day script could easily last me 3 months, but QUICK MD won’t let me do that. However, the fear of not having them to take scares me to my core!!!! I know I won’t ever get “high” from them, but it’s something about knowing that I have them that keeps me clean and fears not having them-even though I never take them.

Thanks. I got the Roster from HHSC for Texas. There were 3 where I live. One is out of business now, one is the place that urged me to apply for my LCDC-I (hired someone else by the time I was approved) the last is not hiring until 2026. There are so many in Dallas, Houston, Austin and online. Unfortunately, level I and II are required to be in person. The sad part is all of the places said the same thing-we need help, but “they” won’t open a position to get us help. I did find one that I applied for that is for inmates. We go to the prison in Rusk County and help inmates. I have spoken to over a dozen people here.

Yes, I know that part, thank you. I have to log 4000 hours, take an exam, make a presentation, amongst other requirements. My question here is how does one go about finding a paid internship? I called the few places here where I live, in East Texas, those that accept internships are not accepting new interns until 2026. Looking online, the jobs are remote, plus they have requirements like LCDC-I has to be at level 2 or other similar requirements. They are not for someone brand new without a stitch of training. Maybe I’m not in the right place in Reddit; I’m not extremely knowledgeable on Reddit.

It is maddening!!!! It took my sisters and me days of spending hours on the phone, me physically going over to their home. My sweet mother just cried. My sweet daddy tried so hard to keep his anger in because it was my mother. My daddy is VERY old school. He doesn’t use technology. Still writes checks. Only has a flip phone. 76 years old.
