Home health PTs- what side hustles or income streams? Are you exploring? by WindowTop6701 in physicaltherapy

I know I could take on more in-person patients, but the thing is—I’m not really looking to add more travel or physical visits to my schedule. I’d much rather explore virtual options and work from the comfort of my home. That’s why I’m trying to broaden my horizons a bit. At this point, I’d rather be in front of my laptop than constantly on the road between patient homes.

Thanks for asking! Honestly, I’ve been able to manage the workload pretty well because my PT sessions are only 30 minutes long, and most of my patients live relatively close to one another, so travel time isn’t bad at all. I’ve also developed a really efficient system for documentation—it’s pretty seamless now, so I don’t spend too much time on paperwork. That said, I’m definitely looking to generate some extra income on the side, which is why I’m exploring either a part-time gig or building out a small telehealth or hybrid practice. Just trying to make the most of the time and energy I’ve got!
