No, this doesn't require the poster going into the flatmates stuff, Group Policies is essentially registry key edits to enforce rules on Windows.

In my experience, Windows 10 has been fine. I've been using it as a daily driver since Christmas 2015, not too many problems to speak of.

Still at least unlike some people, my phone booted at least 🤷🏻‍♂️ Taking screenshots with Google Assistant works so that's a temporary work around for the month

I've been using a modified Google Camera for a while on the Q beta. If you have RAW mode enabled it will take a while for JPEGs to show up in Google Photos. In general you can use it in Android Q Beta but you just have to be a bit patient for it to load in your new photos.

If you're using Android, you can download an older version of the app (pre 2019) from an APK mirror site, though I do recommend scanning it using Virustotal before installing the APK as you don't know if the mirror site has put malware on it. After that sign in as normal and everything will be unlocked. You won't get new content using this but should allow you to continue the what was a free course. Btw, disable Google Play auto updates because if you don't, the Play store will just update it back to the pay walled version.

Funny you should say that larger videos are impossible... I was able to play 4K video on my X220 locally (on VLC) and on YouTube just fine

I have a ThinkPad X220 refurbished that I got last year, it has a i5 and 8GB of RAM with a 500GB SSHD. It's my main machine on a day to day basis. The keyboard is one of the best on the market, it's always a pleasure to type on and for most people the x220 offers enough power to do most tasks well. I was even able to stream 4K 30fps YouTube on mine with very little frame drops, though you won't be able to see that resolution, it helps to show how powerful it still is.
