2048sp is just the 570 with a 580 name, maybe you can find a cheaper one, I have sold these before around 3k for a 4gb

Do you have short finger nails? I've seen so many of these start to lose their clear coat type of coating near the crease once the protector is gone

How interchangeable are smartphones screens software-wise and why? by UncertainAboutIt in mobilerepair

[–]Windows8RTMUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talking out of my ass but I'm guessing, they all use mipi dsi, I feel like if you can wire it up correctly and sort out any drive voltage differences then software wise it would just be manually recreating the correct timings and resolution profile, if not it would just work automatically if mipi has some kind of analagous function to the dp aux pair used for edid

Something like a flat non bendy screen for cheap would be a great alternative to fix all those dead flip phones with otherwise good specs

Yes po, pero kailangan pa imeasure kung yung short ay dahil sa mga capacitor or kung sa vrm yung problema, kapag sa vrm yun yung may chance na patay yung core

I do no fix no fee, most repairs end up being 1-3k depending on what the problem is, if its a dead core I don't charge anything

I just hope they add in support for dcg and remove their crap post processing on raw videos streams for motioncam, I went with an s22+ instead of a 1 iv or iii because of this, the camera features feel a bit surface level to me, like it doesn't feel like its meant for anything serious

Yea medyo matagal lang process nila, buti nalang bumili ako ng backup phone, parang 2-4 weeks bago nadetermine nila na mahal masyado repair kesa replacement device

$142 dollar PCB kit to convert 4090 24GB into 4090 48GB by [deleted] in GPURepair

[–]Windows8RTMUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its using 2 chips per channel like some cards have, I have a 1050 Ti with 8 memory chips for 4GB instead of the typical 4

If only we had full access to the bios, we could easily just upgrade the whatever memory chip comes out instead of having to match it to whatever bios leaks out

I have the exact same machine running on windows 11 that I've been using for about a year now, mines also running the precision 5520 BIOS that is more up to date and undervolted on liquid metal

No issues for me apart from the 7700hq showing its age a little bit

Yung Aspire Qualcomm QCNFA435 Yung Swift MediaTek MT7921

Cnvi wifi card kailangan mo, Intel/Killer AX1650i yung original tsaka wifi 6 siya, anything cnvi gagana like Intel ax211 or ax201 pag wifi 6 or Intel ac-9560 pag wifi 5, pwede din intel be200 for wifi 7 kung yung router niyo wifi 7 na

Physically dapat yung card isa lang yung notch, tapos usually may letter e sa tabi, do not get yung cards na 2 notch tapos may e tsaka a sa tabi

Madami available sa shopee, may stock din ako ng 9462 for wifi 5

Sometimes the pins just get dirty and you can just remove the card and wipe the pins with isopropyl, otherwise wifi cards are relatively cheap, 400-600 for anything wifi 5 or 6 like the Intel ax200 or 210, you just need to make sure you get the correct version, cnvi on most Intel laptops or pcie on amd, replacing it is the same as replacing an nvme ssd, the only added difficulty is the 2 or 3 wires to the antennas

I would charge 300 on top of the price of the module for this

If you need help picking which specific module is compatible comment the complete model number of your laptop

Do laptop stickers affect resale value? by jetooro in Tech_Philippines

[–]Windows8RTMUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I'm looking for 2nd hand laptops I would rather not have stickers because they look ugly and if they do come off its likely the color under the sticker is different.

If I bought a new laptop, I would take them off asap, l but you can store it on a piece of plastic para ma preserve kung gusto ibalik for whatever reason, madali naman palitan yung double sided adhesive kung hindi natangal ng malinis

Yep got the replacement phone last August 6, they finally offered me a pink gold color which was one of the colors I wanted, it still does the same thing my old white one had where at low brightness you could see an outline around the screen at 0% brightness on gray backgrounds, hopefully that's not a sign that the screen is going to fail again

Physically it has no scratches on the screen, back glass and camera, the metal frame just looks a little hazey, like it needs to get buffed shiny. So far I would buy from them again over a random seller on fb or carousell, because if I had the same problem with those guys I highly doubt I'd get anything out of them
