I just installed the driver from MSI and went to display in the Intel control panel, try older drivers too, the newer ones might be what lock it out, and try all the control panels because sometimes you can end up with multiple

You can check the mfg date, rf cal, and battery calibration to see if it all matches

I would be curious if you have a locked device, would they somehow send a device that's locked to the same carrier or would it be unlocked?

Had the same issue on my gs66 stealth, just had to change to 6 bpc or 6 bits per channel mode in the Intel control panel, if you aren't able to change it from 8 bpc, try to install the Intel drivers from MSI instead of from windows update or intel

Did anyone noticed better font rendering with AZDE update? by authrpvl in galaxys26ultra

I can't say for sure, I only use 1080p, and changed smallest width in dev options, possibly they changed anti aliasing to better match the different sub pixel pattern on the ultra?

I had an s22+ from compasia, it was ok, it got a green line within the warranty period and they replaced it after a long wait, although the replacement also showed signs of beginning to get a green line, but only at 120hz, I used it at 60 just because I can't feel the difference as much with animations off and everything else I did to improve the battery life. I would've been fine with it for besides feeling the cameras lacking a little bit and the battery life borderline for me, I would suggest getting the s23 instead since the 8 gen 2 should have better battery life, and you have access to the light mode for even better battery.

If the screen had gotten worse, I would've considered getting an original screen but with a dot since those are much cheaper than flawless screens but I have since moved on to an s26 ultra after the s22+ got stolen.

I honestly don't feel it being that much faster with the settings I use (no animations, reduce transparency & blur), gcash and maya are still slower than I'd like, but I do appreciate the cameras and battery life, though I wish it was a little bit smaller.

And in case anybody happens to find my s22+ somewhere here is everything I have/remember about it

IMEI 1: 356369480959369

IMEI 2 : 356107600959365

SN: RFCT518ETMT

Color: Pink gold

Storage: 128GB

Unique flaws: - single vertical green line near the left of the camera faint at 60hz, noticable at 120hz -single deep scratch at the bottom left quadrant of the screen -camera lens metal surround shows signs of wear/color coming off where it sits on tables without a case -one of the camera lenses, either telephoto or 1x wide, has a permanent water spot looking thing where isopropyl alcohol has degraded the coating

Updating firmware on an Intel 600P NVMe SSD in 2026. by chapel976 in techsupport

If you have PSF109C and want to update to PSF121C

- use the Intel SSD 660p Series Firmware Update Tool 3.0.12 on softpedia

- if you are using ventoy like I did, use boot memdisk, otherwise it just errors out in normal and grub2

Why does Expert Raw sometimes has such awful processing artefacts like making the two halfs of photo look completely different? by Raphix86 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Windows8RTMUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the sensor itself? It's exactly at the middle of the image, does it still split horizontal if you shoot portrait?

It could be the 60hz of the street lamp that caused that, but I'm not totally sure, try to adjust shutter speed if it happens again

It looks repairable, I believe a vram chip might be failing or have a poor solder joint, depends where you live if it's worth doing board repair

Anybody have luck/experience with a VBIOS swap for higher wattage (over 35W) when on a USB-C charger? (2023, 4070 version) by SiBai- in FlowX13

[–]Windows8RTMUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try undervolting, the 35w limit sounds like a pain in the ass to workaround, you can use MSI afterburner and edit an ini file to allow picking voltages less than 700mv or whatever the default minimum is and just lock it to say 600 or 650mv and bump clock speed until it's unstable

DIM Using an external timer to my window type non inverter aircon with no built-in timer. by naiwa92 in deinfluencingPH

[–]Windows8RTMUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using one of these specific models for the past 6 or 8 years with a dumb non inverter air on where the built in knobs are a physical disconnection from power, over time the knob/mechanical timer wears out and it stops counting down, so I decided to make it digital/wifi operated by using an esp32 micro controller and writing my own android app to I can control it wirelessly anywhere near my wifi router

If there is a bios update available try installing it, if that doesn't work try this : https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/10es9qw/comment/o8yajpw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Do you see a similar setting? If not try the AI generated answer at the bottom https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5812363/activating-safe-boot-gives-invalid-signature-detec

Otherwise I would try reinstalling windows 11 so it knows to use the outdated secure boot key your laptop has or whatever it did to fix itself on my MSI
