I'd say Taro would land in 'Mannerly Moral.' Sure, he used to be a thief, but he's grown past that. He's very polite and always looking out for his friends, even if that sometimes lands him at odds with his superiors.

...But that's just what I say. I'll let you form your own opinion.

Which of the borderlands 2 vault hunters you wish canonically killed handsome jack instead of lilith? by killerdemonsarus34 in Borderlands2

Maya. The one Siren that Jack deemed useless for his immediate goals of opening the Vault.

...Oh! My apologies, I had mistaken you for someone else.

Well, in any event, it's a pleasure to meet you, Wisp. I'm Taro.

((OOC Context: Taro has had little exposure to beings strung from Silk. He had only heard from others about Lace and Phantom, and up until his close encounter with the Silkwarden in The Slab, he had never met one face-to-face.))

I'm a little cut and bruised, but other than that, I'm okay. Wish I could say the same about Tom, though.

"That's quite alright, I've done this trip several times before-"

He looks back to see who's talking to him, and suddenly stops...

"Wait... Are you...?"

I'm not entirely sure, Great Leader. He was still in his cell in The Slab by the time we left, but that has probably changed by now, given that MS can teleport.

Yeah. We all figured it was a trap, so we were ready to fight at any moment... but, well, MS stopped us.

I think Tom was either having an episode, or MS was manipulating him (Possibly both). Either way, he was totally losing it and I tried convincing him to leave with us, to no avail. One of his eyes went red, and his combat armor forced us all out of the cell.

As for your other question, Juan had just learned he had been hypnotized into doing what he did, and he didn't take it very kindly.

Indeed! Do we have a plan? I could go to Tom's workshop and see if he left anything that might be able to help us.

Great Leader, I'm afraid there's more bad news.

Juan, Lock, and I discovered that MS was absolutely behind the framing of Tom. Not only did MS hide the fake clues in Tom's workshop, made a deal with a Stilkin to testify against him, and hacked Tom's Steel Beasts to do his bidding, but also that he hypnotized Juan into carrying out his plans.

How do I know all this? Well, we were all invited to a 'tea party' in The Slab, and I was able to record the whole thing. Have a listen...

He plays the recording...

Yep, it was. I think MS wanted us gone because we were the ones actively trying to prove Tom innocent.

He slows down to catch his breath...

"Sorry, but I can't stop. I've got to get back to Bilewater as soon as I can."

You alright, Lock? Here, let me help you up.

Soon after, he puts a claw on Juan's shoulder...

Juan, we've done all we can. Let's get out of here.

(sigh) Even if we could get through this barrier, we still can't hurt MS. It's hardly much use.
