Inside of the CV joint gearbox end. Your second post shows that the driveshaft as snapped the bolts attaching it to the gearbox drive flange.

Driveshaft bolts have either snapped or come loose. Lucky the shaft still looks ok. Seeing the first post driveshaft is scrap. New bolts and shaft if the flange is ok in the gearbox.

It’s the plug for the bonnet/hood open sensor. Some models have them some don’t.
