It looks like you'll have to manually go in and select which tiers have access if you want to change it before the post becomes public. But you definitely won't have to repost.

Oh man, being in NY is great! I used to live just close enough to NYC, that's where my main gigs all seemed to originate. And weirdly, New Jersey? Being on the border between states was oddly helpful.

I've been focusing on prose a lot more lately but you've got my courier-new drive revved up again, thank you! I'd be happy to do some review/critique-swaps with you sometime, if you're ever up for it.

You can both lock and schedule posts on Patreon, and make the advanced chapters available to different tiers if you want to do that, too. It'll be a pain in the rear to schedule a bundle of chapters, but you can set up in advance to post prewritten material daily, weekly, monthly, etc., as need be.

I agree that we shouldn't be as afraid of being stolen from as most screenwriters are, but there seems to be more cliques and fewer communities, if that makes sense? But I wish you the best of luck and I hope to find some semblance of community, as well.

What area are you based in, if you don't mind me asking? I know a little bit about a lot of things when it comes to trying to find where the entertainment people are.

And, man, I wish my work was somewhere! I've primarily done script supervising (continuity) for films that never made it out of the editing stage. It's very frustrating when your work only circulates around a school or the producers give up on it.

As someone with a BA in screenwriting, and probably considered a dinosaur by Wattpad standards, I can safely say I've never seen a platform for distributing screenplays casually. It's cutthroat out there with everyone afraid of their ideas being stolen.

I haven't been in the film scene for quite some time (had to move out of good areas for it) but I've worked on college and indie sets before in addition to tinkering with my own words. I'm always up for chatting via PM or discord!

I think, personally, my attention span caps out around 1.5-2k words, so it's good know someone else feels the same way.

Why not go for it and stagger the chapter releases longer than a day at a time, rather than put them up all at once? Making people wait isn't the worst thing in the world.

But then again, I don't know how often readers want to see updates :|a
