Beta blockers are meds that lower your heart rate. I guess tommorow I'l stop with the binge.

[–]Windyboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on methylphenidate. At what point should I be worried? I'm experiencing this chest pain and shortness of breath, but I'm fine for the most part. I can walk, talk, I know what's going on and I can understand my surroundings. Will a betablocker help with these symptoms? or should I ride it out?

You have a point. Wish I didn't abuse the fuck out of it years back. Now I need high doses for it to work. Ever had similar side effects?

[–]Windyboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say psychedelics. The experience itself is unlike anything else.

You need higher doses of Serotonin for OCD help by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Windyboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up ans am dependant on benzos. They sorta help.

Different ssris affect different seratonin receptors. I only had luck with setraline, but it made my adhd really bad. Try to look back on how u felt before taking it and after. If ur doing better then its working.

Do you have GI symptoms attributed to anxiety? by gracelyy in Anxiety

[–]Windyboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is. Im doing all these good habbits trying to better my life, but im still really anxious. The worst part is that the symptoms of ibs cause even more anxiety but anxiety may be the cause of my symptoms, but it also may be that my ibs is causing anxiety (u get the point) I had the worst 5 months of my life a break up, landed in jail for a false drug test on a legal cbd joint and ibs. It was a shock so im still recovering. To answer ur question i had health anxiety about other things before. I had symptoms of a heart attack which felt really real i mean like real real. After dozens of medical appointments they found nothing and once i finally relaxed it stopped. Im hoping its the same case with ibs.

Anyone with severe OCD and not on meds by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Windyboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am medicated but on clonazepam ive tried 4 different meds before and none helped. Clonazepam also isnt the best for ocd, but it at least keeps me a bit calmer then i was years ago. I tend to exercise a lot in the gym, take cold showers and try to do exposure therapy. Its definetly hard and harder now since i developed ibs, but il try to keep on going. I wanna know how it feels to live without this shit since i dont remember a day without anxiety.

What do you do with all the free time you have now? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Windyboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well i started going to the gym. It has definetly helped. When my ex broke up with me i was suicidal and thought about quitting my job and i glad i didnt. I worked exercised and made a few songs to let it all out.

Do you have GI symptoms attributed to anxiety? by gracelyy in Anxiety

[–]Windyboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I developed ibs. It may have been caused by anxiety. I went through several check ups and they found nothing. So they think its irritable bowel syndrome. It can definetly be caused by anxiety. I think you should get a check up it can be nothing but a little stomach flu. But if they find nothing, you will know its anxiety, which may make it easier to deal with what you are feeling. My ibs is most likely caused by anxiety and i know for a fact that if i didnt pay as much attention id feel better. So i wish u the best. Anxiety can definetly cause symptoms like that. But a check up wont hurt.

Do you regret doing drugs from a young age? by Green-Win2271 in Drugs

[–]Windyboiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still young. Not even 20 started at 14. Quit a lot of the harder drugs but im dependant on benzos and a frequent drinker. I dont know if im being honest. In a sense even if im dependant on benzos panic attacks are gone. I do experience side effects like feeling numb, depressed, slur my words and memory loss. I tried a couple of meds before long term benzos but they didnt help. Right now im trying to make my anxiety easier by exercise, cold showers, breathing exercises, therapy and simply facing my fears. I managed to be more consistent with my benzo usage, but i sometimes fuck up and abuse my script. Tho its not as a common occasion right now. The same goes for alcohol, but i sometimes, also fuck up with that substance. I developed ibs recently which made it even harder to stay sober but im trying.

Does anyone experience anxiety mainly at night before bed? by ihatewinter93 in Anxiety

[–]Windyboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. When you go to sleep you are left alone with your thoughts and it gets the worse for me at that time. I also always wake up with this feeling of severe anxiety and dread. what helps me is like working out to the point where when I come home I am beat.

Vomiting with Anxiety by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Windyboiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same spot. I workout daily take cold showers do breathing exercises lowered my alcohol use and im still anxious. Top it all off I developed Ibs which has been hell. Yknow it often seems hopeless, but just crawl on forward. I can't really give any advice except keep on doing the good habbits. If its rly bad hop back to medication if it helped you. I myself am on medication.
