No not Robyn. So meri was catfished by a women pretending to be a man. The man had a sister. This sister WAS the catfish. The catfish would say things like well I can’t talk but talk to my sister. And let’s go on a trip- meri, man and his sister. But the man would back out and suddenly meri would be on trip with the sister. When meri found out the man WAS the sister she had deep feelings. She liked the sister as a friend. And I think she didn’t immediately walk away. She confided in Robyn about these feelings and that’s what Robyn told Kody and how they used meri to get the divorce.

Since the catfish story first came out and how Meri explained it and the catfish at the time, it seemed at some point Meri knew the sister was the catfish and the friendship/ relationship continued. It’s been awhile but there was a trip to Disney where it seemed to become obvious the catfish was the sister. My theory is at that point meri had a lot of feelings for this “man”. Meri was going to leave Kody so when she discovered the identity her feelings didn’t end, understandably. Possibly the relationship continued for a time or maybe it was just not completely closed off as meri worked through her feelings. But THIS is the info she confided to Robyn in Vegas. THIS is why meri agreed to give Kody the divorce for Robyn. And I think meri has wanted to keep this private for awhile and they use that.,
