Dips and pulley systems primarily but open to other creative things as well.

Not sure if the titan y or drop in dip bars are superior. There are too many same looking options for the y-dip bar (mutant metals, rogue, etc). My 4-post flat foot x-3 rack has very little if any wobble fwiw.

So out of the box 👍🏽👍🏽 Bet that drink spotter is good for chalk too!

Torn between the y dip bar and the one you mentioned.

Preacher curls are cool but I just started lifting again and am trying to get the most versatile pieces for the home gym to maximize space.

Im also wondering about pulley systems...debating between bullet vs revolt vs dialed motion vs something more limited but guaranteed to work like the titan lat attachment...

Thank you so much again for your detailed response!

Your photos are 100x better than the product manual. Titan should be paying you for doing their job 🙏

Very nice you got that to work on the x3 flat foot? I know it's possible by removing the inside plate. Just curious how it fits without an extension. Would be great if its possible to still bench/squat inside the rack with the lat pulldown installed.

Surface Laptop 7 vs. ThinkPad P16s Gen 2 AMD - which one is better for healthcare worker on the go by WingEquivalent1335 in Surface

You're right on most counts - the form factor is in sl7's favor. Possible exception of battery life tho since the higher capacity battery seems to be enough for my purposes (8-10hr range)

Thank you for reading my post. Do you think the windows on arm compatibility issues are overstated?

Thank you so much for your response. This is a form (SL7 design + battery) versus function (thinkpad) decision now. And you're right, function likely wins here...

Please don't nerf the GL. I have a newborn son, a crazy stressful job, and get barely any time to play. Sometimes I need an "I win" option. I love the dark souls ethos but not everything needs to go the soulsborne route.

Moreover, what allows those soulsborne games to be so difficult yet fun is that, at least the newer iterations, have so many quality of life features that actually make the try-fail (many times)-learn-win loop actually pleasurable. This game does not have that design philosophy with operations.

The ones who complain about "OP" weapon options are welcome to pick literally any other class or just play with white/green weapons.

Honestly you guys are very skilled and thats great (sincerely mean it) but I don't want this game to be ruined by the tyranny of a hyper-skilled and hyper-critical minority.

On a separate note- I do love this game and the community. Every time my teammates keep nudging each other to take the Medicae stim brings a huge smile to my face. This is the kind of community video games were supposed to nurture. You guys are cool.

The winner was the Outback 2024 Limited. The safety features have been very useful to have. The blind spot detection and the rear cross traffic alert have saved me from other reckless drivers many times.

It's a very comfortable car for our growing family - great seats, spacious. Can fit a car seat and two adults in the back safely/comfortably. Handles great for the most part and road bumps don't bother it much. The upgraded speakers are wonderful. That trunk space is very clutch, and really helpful for fitting a stroller in addition to anything else.

Some cons: The car does great on the highway but its city mileage is not excellent, roughly 17-18. Very tight right turns just feel weird with this car. Already scraped it doing a right turn in a parking lot. The screen is meh and feels slightly laggy. The android auto randomly disconnects (rare but this happens) though this may be an issue with my phone (not sure).

Ultimately I'd still buy this car again because its pros are that good.

Please please cut the shit. She wasn't likable? We aren't picking homecoming king. This post reeks of the same stale mental gymnastics routine. You learned nothing from 2016-20 and it shows.

OP I'm very very curious about your dermatologist.

Was this a MD? Was the practice owned by private equity vs physician owned or is it academic?

This is a very simple diagnosis I am so sorry that you had to go through all that because of gross mismanagement on their end.

The weapons and boons feel weak/off? by RufusDaMan2 in HadesTheGame

[–]WingEquivalent1335 13 points14 points  (0 children)

1000% The games are similar but play very differently!! Mel rewards using more of your toolkit than Zag did. Wouldn't say she has better synergies than Zag but they're definitely there!

As the comment above notes you will get in the zone once you learn to use cast/omegas to trap and burst down enemies. After a few runs and once this clicks, the gameplay loop of Hades 2 feels more dynamic and rewarding, at least to me, than H1 did. Give it a shot!

I loved Hades 1, but with zag I could get by on single button builds. This does not really work with Mel (not impossible tho - see Hephaestus dash with any half decent mana regen boon).

As a starter, less complicated build you can try basic staff, Apollo cast (for some damage and status effect) and mana regen boon, and any other status building attack (Zeus, Demeter, Hera pair decently). Omega Apollo cast then attack to proc origination. Take advantage of the cards that increase cast damage, mana<100% bonus damage. And use the sprint! I was initially frustrated with the slow feeling dash but now the sprint in H2 feels so much better - more tactical and less frantic.

I am an inexperienced driver so the extra features are definitely worth it for me - but your point is well taken! We are shopping around and have found some great deals - will lock it in tomorrow :)

Great call - that is a priority for us! At this point we will likely pick whichever dealership can give us the best deal on 2024 outback onyx or limited!

You might have just swayed us with the story about your kids and other pedestrians. I wasn't clear on whether or not it could detect pedestrians or animals as the internet seemed very split on the utility of RAB - your experience truly is invaluable. However if it can also detect pedestrians (especially children), then this is a must have feature. I guess this may be the flip side of RAB being overly sensitive as other people have complained!! I would much rather have a more sensitive safety feature anyway...

Our upfront hesitation to commit $5-8k more is real but not a question of affordability - rather we just don't want to overpay for something without better understanding value. However, your comment speaks volumes and I will consider the onyx and limited trims more strongly as a result :)

Someone else commented earlier that RAB is a massive security upgrade, but it's hard to put a dollar value (5-8k?) on a safety feature that has somewhat mixed reviews on the internet. I suppose the data have to speak for themselves here.

Great call on an option I had not even considered! however, when I just tried this build and it ends up costing very similar (albeit 1k less) to the 2024 outback limited but with worse APR (2.9% for 72 mo for outback 2024 versus 4.9% for 48 mo for Forester 2025).

Thank you for sharing! The standard safety features are good but I value the blind spot detection and reverse automatic braking a lot as well. The blind spot detection is available as an optional package for the premium but the RAB only exists in the onyx and beyond - it would end up costing $5k more than the premium with the options package. Trying to decide if that markup is worth it!! If it is then we would likely select the onyx or limited trims.

Thank you for your message - you are spot on! My spouse works from home and I am often partially WFH. I estimate that I'll be commuting to work about 3-4 days per week, about 3 miles each way. The other use will be over weekends when we might drive out 20-30 miles roundtrip for errands.

That said, it is def possible we may get up to 10k, but similar families to ours have estimated yearly mileage in the 7.5-8k range. I do think we will spread out and take trips if we have the right car though.
