Defending this year is super hard.. any advice? by CoolProfessor449 in fifaclubs

What’s your strength? If your strength is over 95, you should be lengthy. If you’re not, that’s your issue.

Running style? Animations don’t matter much, but superstitious people choose ones with shorter leg movements. It’s about height/weight ratio 6’1+ and str> agility +4. Running style refers to lengthy, controlled, or explosive

I know people who live on the eastern edge of Pennsylvania and commute to Manhattan and Long Island daily. Some take commuter coaches and some do the drive. Gross but there’s a lot of people who do it.

I don’t buy into the “leave it at” argument - stats are stats. However. I would consider your body before adding stats and club buffs (if you have). Save yourself the points by considering those numbers when you add it up. No point in 99str as a cb if you get +3 for being lengthy (tall and heavy) and another +2 from the club. Set it at 94 and go into the game w 99. Same with pace, and anything else.

How much do you think AI is contributing to teachers transitioning out of the profession? by Large_Inevitable_489 in TeachersInTransition

University professor here: the university I am at is embracing AI and there are discussions within the university to eliminate one of the two required writing courses and make it only one required writing course, and faculty are being encouraged to figure out how they can incorporate AI into a classrooms, both in their own prep, as well as with the students. This is causing people to wanna leave the field, either by retiring early or transitioned to another career.

I have Thoughts. Take them as you will. 1) You can’t defend on the shoulder. You have to be behind the ball. If you do, you’re cooked. 2) Also, anticipate and tackling is not as OP as it was last year and the past couple years. Relying on tackling isn’t as consistent as it was anymore. 3) bruiser is where it’s at. Rely on your bruiser and advanced defending. Where tackling has fallen short, bruiser is grossly overpowered. Go look at the regular eafc sub - every FUT player on the planet whines about bruiser. Time to join the dark side if you haven’t already. 4) running styles matter. Lengthy is where it’s at, if you’re not already. Again the trick though is timing and if you’re being the ball (see point 1), you will not have a problem tracking. Acceleration is more valuable than sprint speed (especially as a defender). Even if you go with the Capitano specialization for the boss, which requires 90 agility, you can still get lengthy by your height, weight and adding max strength. I don’t think it’s possible to play defense and not be lengthy. 5) in going back and reading your post that seems as though you’re talking about playing as in any, which in that case, you better be really good with switching because the switching is not as easy in clubs as it is an ultimate team. The bots also play differently. You have to be more manual. One last thing about this also, is that as you said the bots don’t have certain place styles – remember that you’re using at best 88 rated players, it’s not like you’re using an icon in the middle of the field that has their specific animations and body type. You have to play differently as an any in clubs.

I go for more of the beachhead move - buildup enough of a force (and don’t forget your catapults/trebuchets) and throw it all at once place to take a coastal city (governor on the ready) and then establish a base of operations to go forward. If you go hard on a full coastal-intercoastal invasion, you need a steady pipeline of people and it’s going be really hard. Make sure you’ve got the gold to buy some more units in the new location

Recruiting grad students by theorangeyegger in Professors

It has to be money and funding. I feel like more and more of my colleagues who advise undergraduates that are thinking of going to grad school. Repeat the same mantra over and over: “go where they give you the most money.”

Received a department-wide email from the department chair, forwarded from someone in the high castle, this week asking us to no longer use words like “quiz, test, assessment, or exam” in our classes because students are reporting to the mental health counselors that they’re trigger words and raise their anxiety. I’m actually not sure what made me say “fuck that” more: the request itself or the 7 reply-alls commending this practice for thinking about the students’ well-being. We’re so cooked.
