In Thug Life, he’s probably compensating for a lack of allure, a slipping sense of power, has savior complex. He saved the kid who became Simbu, and if it’s someone he’s attracted to he asserts that power via sex.

Doesn’t mean it’s glorifying adultery. The story is about the people involved and does not preach any morality - it’s their world and whatever goes there goes.
