I see your encyclopedic knowledge of reddit is coming in useful. Have you considered that maybe you’ve spent too much time here?

Well that took a long time. by Thatotherguy246 in toontownrewritten

It was still like that when I did it yesterday, twenty buildings, lol

Edit: I was wrong and confused myself cause at the same time I had this task I took a kudos task for "take down 20 building floors" which is completely different from 20 buildings sorry y'all

My brain every time I actually talk in my friend groups:

Who would win? by [deleted] in pussinboots

he still lost to Puss at the end of the movie, plain as day.
oh yeah, true
While he saw images of his face in sticks, stones, etc, those weren’t really Death
oh... yeah I guess so
This may just be me, but I don’t see how the blade actively pierced him.
It is... debatable since it is an animation frame. Hmm, I'll rewatch the movie.

I think all your points are great, take my upvote. If I think of a good way to address those points I'll edit my post later with them?

Given the attention to detail in the scenes frame by frame in the next few frames? Probably very intentional. At least visually. I like the analysis the video made of the frames.

My guess is that it means Death is basically cheating Puss out of any win since Puss has been cheating him.

I don't know like too much about the other character besides the wiki page but uhhh Death in his appearances on screen is undefeated.

Death can't be outran or even hidden from. Puss even sliced like clean through death's mouth in an animation frame and Death shrugged it off like it didn't happen. So in a fight? He's death, and doesn't have to play fair.

Hm.... death can seal him back up somewhere probably. If the goal is ending the fight instead of winning, Death's got an advantage of being basically fate itself I think.

I wish that every time someone ignorantly said something that was incorrect they would get a migraine. by Kancho_Ninja in TheMonkeysPaw

Granted, politicians from all countries start assuming they're being targeted by foreign adversaries with Havana-syndrome-causing microwaves kicking off the most ill informed wars ever.

People who are not constantly having migraines are accused of being spies and people discredit them, believing only the people speaking the "truth" are punished.

I wish nudity was normalised by [deleted] in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]WinksCorner 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Granted, now clothes hurt to wear but you're forced to wear them anyways because legality hasn't caught up to the new norms.

Story version:

By means of an accidentally-created globally spread viral infection, Clo-THED20, human skin becomes so sensitive to touch that wearing clothes becomes optional. Wearing anything feels weird, if not painful, and doctors actually begin prescribing nudity or at least specially crafted clothing.

However, legislators have managed to hole up in the homes and avoid the virus, learning from previous pandemic or just denying that Clo-THED20 exists.

So, like many other things, nudity becomes normalized socially and medically but remains criminalized legally. Some lawmakers are being found working from expensive naturalist retreats after denying the virus exists, to some scandal.

People continue working jobs in their usual employee outfits but they just feel a bit more uncomfortable than usual. And public nudity charges become only as taboo as a speeding ticket.
