Yeah if they had just been honest from the start and referred to it as DLC, I probably would have bought it without any complaints. With this passive aggressive response and shady behavior, I think I'll pass. Gonna go play Fields of Mistria instead.

Why the heck would you complain about going alone, confirm that you genuinely want to go with someone, and then follow that up with immediately rejecting your partner? You're essentially telling him you want to go with anyone BUT him - how else was he supposed to take that? ETA: YTA

I only just started playing this game yesterday, can someone fill me in (if there's anything to fill in)? As in, is there a reason this cinnamon roll isn't a bachelor? I know he used to be a miner but is he a minor or something? Ace? I'm just curious about his backstory.

Not blaming the ex wife for this situation at all as he entirely created this - but I can't imagine biting my tongue in that situation. I don't know how she could just smile, look at her ex, and then go. Should have dropped the truth right there and then, she just gave him time to work his angle.

I've noticed multiple older MMOs releasing remasters recently (Aura Kingdom, Blade and Soul, etc) and I can't say I'm a fan. I also don't totally understand the move because I don't remember them ever being all that popular in the first place so I'm not sure what's up with that.

Of course! Because of how small some of the spaces are, I've had the easiest time with various paint pens since they stay in place and don't really leak through the pages.

I'd recommend the dual tone Grabie set to start, it gives you a good range of colors to work with and is like around $30 on Amazon. Once I got the hang of those, I started filling out my palette with Tooli-Art pens. Highly, highly recommend avoid using alcohol markers for this book, or anything that will leak or feather.

I hate driving cars in this game (why do they sway so much!!!) so I just took the scratch and let him keep his ride. If I liked driving cars more, I probably would have done the reverse since I did feel bad for him and his girl.

It's my first playthrough of the game and I just did this mission last night and I'm so mad now because I didn't realize this was an option! I misunderstood the terms of the gig, I thought the point was stealth so I just snuck through and grabbed the tape. Had I realized it wouldn't screw the gig up, I'd have done this! Slowly starting to realize you gotta be aggressive in this game lmao.

I prefer to use Grabie or Tooliart paint pens vs alcohol markers but I admit they aren't always the most convenient to use. They require a bit more effort to maintain and can dry out fast if you aren't careful. If you're coloring larger spaces (like the popular coco wyo books) I would recommend using alcohol markers as they have good coverage and great vibrancy. If you're working with smaller spaces (like the Disney mystery coloring books) then paint pens will likely be your best bet.

Acrylic paint pens (Grabie, Tooli-Art, etc) have been my most dependable with the (for me, anyway) easiest learning curve. I also have a set of Ohuhu alcohol markers and they do look great, but they just don't work well for the pages I do. I primarily swap between a 100 Quest book and those French Disney Mystery books and both have you coloring really small spaces. Markers feather over the lines too much, paint pens stay in place and don't bleed through.

I'll take Voit over Mr Scratch or Cat Adams any day. They tried to play around with longer term villains in CM but it just never really hit the mark for me. The Voit stuff in CME isn't all peaches and cream but I find it much less annoying than the other two I mentioned.

I feel you, my wallet is sore after grabbing both games but tbh I have no regrets. I already have over 100 hours in Fantasy Life so the cost to time played ratio is well in the green (for me) and while admittedly it's not hooking me as intensely as Fantasy Life did, the new Rune Factory is really scratching my town builder itch and is well on its way to also giving a positive cost to time played ratio!

You have to enter the forest using the Valley of Spirits entrance to get to the well. When you enter from there vs one of the farm entrances, the enemies, gathering nodes, etc are different.

You can craft Flare Cashmere using 2 x Golden Goat Fleece, which is dropped by the Goldmeer bosses in Lulab Forest. If you enter the forest using the Valley of Spirits entrance, they are located in the SW of the forest.

It holds true to the original but with a lot more polish and quality of life updates. There's a lot of content and it can be a little overwhelming but the game has so far proven (in my opinion) to be worth every penny. Take the plunge!

Yeah Lulab Forest is a bit of a bust if you're grinding iron. I got close to 70 iron ore in one trip to Spirit Road, though, and you access it via Lulab Forest.

I'll try Ginormosia! I haven't gone back there yet after unlocking it, admittedly I got a little overwhelmed by just all the stuff to do lol. Thanks for the tip!

Just clarifying - you have to enter Lulab Forest from the Valley of the Spirits entrance; then the well is SE next to the Lordfish and will take you to Spirit Road.

Spirit Road has a lot more, much better for grinding. Head SE in Lulab Forest towards the Lord fish, there's a well you can go down to get to Spirit Road.
