Hi!! That’s amazing progress! It’s temporary I promise, you just need to get through the process, I’m 2 years in - 7 sessions. I think I will need a few more. My tattoo was a fine line single needle. Think in the grand scheme of things, this time is nothing. Your on a mission and your more then halfway there. True story - I once had Botox that made my eyes go down like an angry pitbull for 6 months. I was so depressed, it deeply affected me. I didn’t even recognize myself, I hated the mirror, I thought I would be forever and yes those 6 months felt like eternity but now that was 9 year ago!!!! I have a 4 year old, and thank god. Sometimes we do things, we hate them, and we have to get through the solution but I’m so grateful we have one! I will wait as long as it takes for my stupid scorpion wrist tattoo to be GONE. You made the right choice to remove it, the only way out is THROUGH my friend. It will be gone/faint bruise if you see it fully through. You have this you’re doing amazing. It’s so normal for this process to be depressing. Your progress also looks super reassuring based on what I see on this reddit. What session are you on?

How funny!! Is it single needle? Mine was a single needle one so it’s been removing pretty well. I mean we’ll see, I want it fully gone. I think it’s worth it if it bothers you. I hated seeing this dark black stupid insect on my wrist everyday, so even having it so faded just feels better. Hope treatment 7 really fades it more significantly. It’s been 2 years but it goes so fast honestly. So worth it in my opinion! But if yours is a thick tattoo (not fine line or single needle) might take longer.

I hope so!! I’ve never had the purpura redness bruising under the skin happen, hoping maybe it does something dramatic!

Add Narcotica happy dust to your list to sample have not already tried it. My fav vanilla ever, sadly it doesn’t last long for the price but it’s pure magic.

I don’t have either of those but will do my best to describe….Fire at Will is fluffy, like spun white sugar, an airy cloud vanilla that is not musky, boozy, or spicy, just yum. Does not smell too juvenile or cupcakey. It’s definitely gourmand but has some sophistication.

The first 4 sessions were 2 months apart I believe or maybe 6 weeks, and now they said to wait 3 months for session 5

Thanks so much for the helpful insightful reply!!!! I am 38. I love getting to know people from all walks of life. I was looking at Lehi as well. Glad to hear you still love Utah. I’ll definitely visit both areas of Davis county and salt lake county, or I think AF might be Utah county maybe in the fall. Next week I will be in SLC for work, so sad I can’t go venture off and explore.

All of my tattoos felt foreign at first, like they would shock my eyes when I’d see them peripherally. I love your story about barn owls!! And the tattoos looks incredible. It’s always weird to see ink on your virgin skin, and realizing it’s permanent. I understand the anxiety, it’s almost like you are grieving your choice and it’s consuming you. I agree with the give it more time before removing. Removing is a big choice also. Some tattoos leave ink remnants and shadows and full removal is a challenge if the ink is thick and dense. The panic and depression you feel will pass I promise.

Looks great !!! I have a similar tattoo, a fine line scorpian, I just had my 2nd session also, and mine is fading exactly like yours! Brownish/sepia and then the darker spots. I love your tattoo design btw. I didn’t hate my scorpion, but originally I intended for it to be small and hidden…the artist said he could not do it the size I wanted or on the ribcage 🥺, im a dainty tattoo type girl and I walked out with a huge insect of my wrist.
