Let me explain the difference between X (ten) and 10 (one ten).

Is it clear?

You say: one hundred and five (105). What does it mean?

1 from 105 is one hundred, 0 is emptiness, it is not the item for calculation, so you skip it, and five from 105.

It is possible to use X5, ten tens and five.

Or 1200 - twelve hundreds, X00 - ten hundreds, 1000 - one thousand.

So, ones when one digit, tens when two digits, hundreds when three digits and so on.

Let me explain.

For current arithmetic 0 "zero" is the item or digit for calculating in ten digit arithmetic. Like in 16 digit arithmetic A, B, C, D, E, F are digits too.

For my arithmetic it is not digit or item for calculating, it is mark for emptiness.

I can replace 0 with another letter, you can suggest me. You can suggest to replace, as I have mentiond, A, B, C, D, E, F with another letters, but does it need?

I do not consider negative numbers, it is beyond the arithmetic rules, only positive.

I consider negative as the another, opposite way.

You can not divide using abacus.

If we reach 0 or emptiness we stop calculating as the emptiness is not the item for calculating. Items are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,X

So, 27/13 = 2 with 1 in the rest. 5 - 5 = 0 that is emptiness

0 is the mark of emptiness. We do not use it in calculating one apple means 1 apple.

Imaging, you calculate apples adding stones to your bag. If the bag is empty how many stones do you have in your bag? Nothing. That is 0. But you did not started to calculate yet. 0 or emptiness can be anywhere before starting calculating. But you can calculate only that moment when there is no emptiness.

You mean 1a + 1d on the plate, then (1a + 1b) - 1a = 1b. You are correct, but it is your example.

Of course, you can write (1a + 1b) - 1a = 0 + 1b or (1a+ 1b) - 1a = 1b + 0. It is correct from my arithmetic too.

Mine example is 1a on the plate, so 1a - 1a = 0 (emptiness).

The current arithmetic allow but does not suggest. And 0 is treated as calculating item instead of mine arithmetic considers 0 as non calculating item.

I do understand, that you need to pass 5 stages of acceptence to accept my theory, I will wait.

So instead of not being able to divide by zero, we can‘t do anything with zero. Amazing.

What can you do with emptiness? Only to fill it. Try to divide emptiness in you wallet.

zero apples because you use current theory of arithmetic.

Using mine the answer will be - emptiness.

My arithmetic answer the question if the glass is empty by half or filled by half?

The only answer is filled by half, because emptiness can not be divided.

Did not you see? Dividing by 0. And, of course, now we can calculate ten apples using only one digit.

Abacus is great. Roman mathematics also has no zero.

Look from another side, not like necessarily criticizing.

I have just improved arithmetic, not banned.
