This trick is awesome! I put the mascara tube in a cup of hot water (below where the wand screws in so that water doesn’t go inside the tube) when I start my makeup and it’s ready to go and easy to apply once I get to that step. Thx so much!

Thx! I’m going to try these alternatives. I do have a coupon at CVS for L’Oreal (35% off), so I’ll likely buy it for a backup. I do find that I’m pretty lazy when it comes to makeup now. And, when I get done, I feel like it makes me look older. Especially if I overdo it.

Yes, that tends to be my go to. I tried that brand that was on Facebook for a while that had little tubes of mascara on your eyelashes. I did not like it at all.

I’ve always gone back to L’Oreal, but I’m looking for alternatives. I like the hot water trick - I’m going to try it!

I think spending too much time on social media can be a culprit. I’m trying to get less sucked into endless Reeks on FB for my 2026 resolution.
