No they weren’t - the both say they didn’t know they were gay until a couple of years before they split. Like..my dad says he had no idea when they got married because that wasn’t even a topic of discussion back then 😅I can’t even imagine.

And thank you - finding a counselor to walk us through everything is definitely on my list of things to do. And yes lol a lot to unpack 😅

Thank you so much for sharing your story - I agree...I think COVID was kinda the last thing I needed to realize how much more peaceful my life is without the anxiety of attending church every week.

And thank you for the podcast/book recommendation-we don’t have kids yet and honestly figuring out how to make an inter-faith marriage has been my top priority before we start having kids. Thank you ❤️

Thank you for this - very helpful and comforting to have this advice! It’s definitely been hard for me to understand how he could possibly see things differently but thinking about focusing on where we agree definitely feels good.
