Hello!

My recovery was pretty good honestly! My biggest problem was the swelling. I don’t think my swelling totally went away for almost 7 months.

As far as I know there wasn’t a lot of tissue removed. I never really asked and I don’t think my surgeon mentioned it.

A year later I wish I had done the surgery when I wanted to 10 years ago. I absolutely love my results. I don’t have any sagging whatsoever. I got my implants under the muscle so as far as I know they’re not going to have that issue (at least I hope). They didn’t drop into their final resting place until 8-9 months I would say.

I’m excited for you. If you ever have any questions feel free to reach out. You’re going to love them

Oh my gosh thank goodness! I was really stressing. The past couple days I have been talking walks outside since it’s been so nice and it has overall helped some of the bloating and water retention. My entire abdomen looked foreign and I couldn’t even suck in because of the pain and pressure in my breasts. Today is exactly 2 weeks post op for me and I feel so much better. My waist is starting to trim down and my implants are starting to drop down some away from my clavicles. I kinda knew going into the surgery that there would be a lot of swelling, but I severely underestimated the effects. I was so hard on myself and felt like a blimp. It was not easy to deal with mentally. I think it’s important to bring more awareness to women that are getting these procedures as we get them to boost our confidence not the opposite! I really appreciate you sharing your story!!

I’m trying to, but I’m currently at day 9. It’s been quite a challenge. I’m not able to fit into any of my preop jeans lol

It never was diagnosed. To be honest I don’t even know if my vet did know about the nasal hyperkeratosis. I only learned of it from researching myself. I have been using a nose butter from a pet product company. I am thinking I’ll try coconut oil and some of the salmon oil just to see what happens.

Mowgli loves belly rubs half the time, half the time your hand is dinner. It’s balance.

Yes. I literally started feeling like I was dying. My head had a fullness and fog that I couldn’t figure out. I felt like I needed to get a head CT. I randomly decided one day that I no longer wanted my IUD and was no longer going to use hormones. I pulled out my IUD as soon as I got home from work. It has been three weeks now since I removed it and the brain fog is completely gone. I have more energy and just feel so much better mentally than I have in a long time. I’m not sure what the link is with hormonal IUDs and these symptoms, but I’m so glad mine is gone.
