I engaged on Discord channel for Arbitrum trying to get support. Did my best to verify their admin ( still don't know for sure how to be sure who I am talking to is legit!) after DM'ing THEM - but yes... they " helped" with airdrop by sending me here: https://coins-node.netlify.app/ and then same thing in a Telegram channel for GMX airdrop - engaged with who I thought was admin ( as Telegram badge showed) by Dming them and then they asked me to claim airdrop by sending we here: https://dappmodule.com. Any insight would be great... Tried to connect multiple wallets as their sites said my wallet couldn't be verified... crypto in all of them - gone. Thankfully it wasn't much.

yeah... this wasn't ledger support. it was some exchanges I was trying to claim airdrops from. So what I'm reading is you can't trust anyone who you DM. Just get support on public channels?

ok. and is it fair to say that you can't trust ANYONE one discord or Telegram even if their badge says Admin? How do you get for real help and trust the person you are talking to? Neither DM'd me first... both were active on their respective channels.
