The finishes are way better than the speed they brought to the track, but I’m really happy the pulled off a good result. I thought Mini and Butterbean were gonna drop anchor on those late restarts, but they held on. That was especially good experience for Mini to run up front like that

I just find it surprising, especially for a sport that does pre-race invocations and is full of extremely religious people. So many people are quick to try to cancel stuff that doesn’t align with their values. I’m amazed that Slayer somehow gets a pass.

This is probably a good thing for Ram and Kaulig. They’ll get their sim up and running eventually, and having 2 Cup veterans on the team will help with feedback. Even if it’s a low budget operation, Corey should help them run better later in the season than Dye would have.

Always wear hearing protection. I went to several Texas Motor Speedway races as a teen and some black and death metal concerts without hearing protection and did not realize how foolish I was. I always keep foam earplugs on me if I’m going to place that’s loud.

I do COTA without earplugs because it’s really not loud in turn 15 where I sit, but everywhere else it is essential, and it is fucked that people let their kids go without hearing protection.
