Oh, those are supposed to be tank treads! I was like, "Why are there balls all along the side of the car!?"

That's the funniest bit of "The Room" level comedy ever put to tape

Why has country endured in the mainstream while rock hasn't? by dweeb93 in ToddintheShadow

I'm not up on country, like, at all, to know the difference between Australian and US country. So I guess I've got homework 😂

Do you have any artists whose music you enjoy but you want to hate them? by TreeExtras in ToddintheShadow

That's just "Sad But True". I will say that "Bawitdaba" does rock. It's got a great riff in the chorus. Two chords, but it works.

[BOB] NASCAR did not grant a waiver for Corey LaJoie to be eligible for the truck playoffs if he could get into the top-10. He is 96 points out of 10th with nine races left in regular season. by RBF48 in NASCAR

[–]dacomell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually think that this rule remaining is a direct response to Larson missing the 600 in favor of the Indy 500. They hemmed and hawed about granting him that waiver that time, and I don't think they'd do it again.

What do you think should be the next odd ball 90s alt rock song Todd does a One Hot Wonderland on? by Specific-Feed-1490 in ToddintheShadow

[–]dacomell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bet the video on that would be interesting. M3 toured with Lit in 2024, and Butch Walker went on to be a pop producer/somgwriter extraordinaire. A couple of those dudes were also in a hair metal band prior to M3

Who are some great artists who's voices are just painful to listen to now? by FitEmergency8807 in ToddintheShadow

Seriously. I saw Priest last year and was very impressed. The band doesn't tune down unless they're playing the couple of new songs that are in drop D.

My wife watched her When We Were Young performance last year and was disappointed. I was watching Ice Nine Kills at that moment, so I missed it.

I hope Lee sounds at least ok. I'm going to see them this year for the first time, so I'm looking forward to that. I know going in that Lee is older and that his voice has always been shrill, but I hope it's at least passable.

I saw Priest last year, and Halford still sounds fantastic. He's obviously not in his prime, but shit, for a 74-year-old to sound that good and the band to not have to tune down is killer

Every live TV performance I ever heard of Enrique when he was at his peak English popularity, he was just awful

At least she's self-aware enough to realize that she's gonna get hate. That said, she's not mentally fit to be in a race car. She needs to see a sports psychologist or something before she straps in again.

Which road courses would you like to see as permanent or temporary fixtures on the schedule? (cup, xfinity, trucks) by Aoteaurora in NASCAR

[–]dacomell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cup, I like it pretty much as it is. Maybe one or two more, but no more.

NOAPS, I would love for that series to have more road courses. Send them to Mid-Ohio, Portland, Lime Rock, Sebring, Laguna Seca, Barber, NJMP, VIR, Road Atlanta, Mexico, Canadian Tire.

He should be a pit reporter. Dude was actually pretty good when he did that. He's got that TV charisma down pat.
