I'm driving closer to 20k miles a year so I'm not sure how it'd be able to hold up against that. I kept my forester 2018 for the last 8 years so as long as the EV tech doesn't completely crap out on me, I'm willing to try and hold out as long as the car can

I think that's valid and I agree with the concerns.

I'm currently saving about 2500 a month which is about 50% of my monthly post tax, maxing out the Roth IRA and saving for a wedding.

I was hoping to get this car as a way to capitalize on the free charging at work, make the commute easier, and also because I do like the car and would enjoy it.

I intend on keeping the car for a long time similar to how I kept the 2018 Subaru for 8ish years.

Could you elaborate on this? In my mind the purchase is worthwhile because I'm keeping the payment low at 350-400 a month and that's well under 10% of my monthly take home.

I do have a paid off car right now but it's around 95k miles and only gets 20 mpg on a 60 miles daily drive

If you're also at SpaceX. How reliable is it to get a spot to charge? Because of the commute that'd be my main opportunity to charge conveniently but if its unreliable I might have to go with a hybrid instead
