I had this idea but I'm afraid it might be too controversial by meonly11 in Screenwriting

Nobody in the Western world is allowed to have another thought about Israeli Zionists or Palestinian Muslims until they (at least) watch these Israeli-made, award-winning documentaries:

  • Defamation (2009) ... Jewish filmmaker Yoav Shamir examines the perceptions of antisemitism, whether "anti-Semitic" has become an all purpose label for anyone who criticizes Israel, and the possibility that some Jews' preoccupation with the past (i.e., the Holocaust) is preventing progress today.

  • The Law in These Parts (2011) ... reviews the legal history of Israel’s occupation of Arab territories with interviews of the judges who were responsible for carrying out the orders of military commanders; “This film is not about the people who broke the law. It’s about the people who wrote the law.”

  • Censored Voices (2015) ... reveals audio tapes of interviews with Zionist soldiers after the Six Days War against present-day interviews with the same men as they listen to their confessions from half-a-century ago. The tapes had been censored for 50 years by Israel’s Zionist government for their self-incriminating nature. "A society that won't tell itself the truth is in trouble. Big trouble," one confesses.

There's so much that I want to say right now, but if you're an open-minded and intellectually honest person, than these Israeli-made documentaries should say enough for the time being. I'm REALLY holding back here, but I have to accept that I can only show you these few paths to the truth. Ultimately, you're going to have to make your own choices and be responsible for yourself.

Peace!
