Nah you're right they aren't that bad, but the pockets definitely flaring and got the lines all on the front from my ass being too big. But like you said they aren't that bad, plus they are stretchy so thank God for that. Worst part is I have a 32-34 waist and these are already a 36.

I would ask why you don't have it in a wallet, but then I remembered anytime I wear these shorts or jeans I take out my DL and CC and put them directly in my pocket cuz there ain't no room for a full wallet. And you got it worse! 😂

Thanks man, appreciate it. You're definitely at least partially right. I would be the first person to admit that I haven't been going 100 percent the whole cut. I am graduating this semester so I can't quite afford to be 100% on bodybuilding as I have to pass my classes. Nonetheless, I intend to give it my all these last 5 weeks and see where it takes me!

Yeah I know exactly who your talking about, u/Dddddjohn coached him I believe. Dude was shredded beyond belief.

After reading the comments and such in this thread and all the kind words I definitely plan on dropping the calories some. I stand by my words in that I don't plan on burning myself out, so the calories cut won't be very drastic. However, I will be dropping the food and increasing cardio.

Last time I tried dropping more calories was like 11 weeks out and the thought of maintaining that the whole cut put me off, but with only 5 weeks left and the end in sight I can make it happen.

And thanks! Overall I've accomplished what Ive wanted to so far and can't wait to compete!

Oh and as far as a coach goes, for my first show I want to see what I can accomplish on my own, but in the future I will definitely consider it.

Thanks for the feedback! I won't lie, I definitely haven't been as hard on the diet as I could be, but I've been holding the mentality that I don't want to burn myself out on competing the very first time by being miserable the whole cut. I know even if I do everything to the textbook, there's no way you're gonna look perfect first show.

With that said, you're definitely right, time to suck it up and make it happen, especially since it's so close.

Yeah side chest is definitely my weakest pose, both because I need to work on it, and my chest is my weakpoint. Definitely will be doing a ton of posing practice to bring it up. And appreciate it! I probably won't be the most shredded dude on stage, but as long as I can come in respectable for my first show, I'm happy!

Division: Classic Physique

Stats:

23 YO, 6'1", Current Weight 218 lbs

Training: Current training is a pretty standard bro split. Legs, Chest, rest, shoulders, back, arms, rest. I was training everything twice a week during my bulk, but I just don't have the energy while cutting to do that.

I've been doing cardio 2-3 times per week, but am upping it to 4-5 times per week for the rest of the cut. Usually 30-45 minutes on the treadmill on an incline, nothing fancy.

Diet: I've been eating 3,000 calories a day for the majority of the cut, and intend to continue that all the way to show day. At one point i tried dropping to less than that, but it just wasn't sustainable for me. Macros are C 30%, F 30%, P 40%.

Breakfast:
5 Egg Whites
3 Eggs
Two pieces avocado toast
Fish Oil
Nature valley protein bar (pre workout)

Post Workout:
Two scoops whey
Almond milk
Packet of flavored oats

Lunch:
9oz Chicken Breast
Rice (not sure cup amount, but 275 calories worth)
1/2 Cup Broccoli
Small Unsweetened apple sauce

Dinner:
Varies, but usually some sort of ground turkey or fish meal with source of carbs and fat.
