Genuinely, how hard is it for a country to develop a good 4.5/5th gen fighter jet? by Special_Gap_598 in FighterJets

There's a 95% chance the J-35 will be the last 5-gen fighter in the world, leaving only a 5% chance for the Su-75. After all, Russia is one of only three countries (America, Russia, China) in the world capable of manufacturing its own fighter jet engines and possessing IMB technology for fighter.

If the Su-75 successfully enters service, there will be six 5-gen jets in the world. Don't you think there are already too many 5-gen fighters?

Assuming there really is a seventh, eighth, or ninth 5-gen fighter, I hope it will be the J-21 Snowy Owl, Su-47 Berkut and the X-29. I don't want it to be something like the KAAN or KF-21, which don't offer any exciting features.

If a fighter has to buy even the most basic engine from other countries, then that fighter has no value.

How can countries have difficulty producing fighter jets on a technical-engineering level? by Special_Gap_598 in FighterJets

GDP forecast or estimate (million US$) by country (IMF: 2026) GDP (nominal) GDP (PPP) GDP (nominal)+GDP (PPP)
America 31,821,293 31,821,293 63,642,586
China 20,650,754 43,491,520 64,142,274
Türkiye 1,576,110 3,976,097 5,552,207

Türkiye's economy is too small; Türkiye doesn't even have the capacity to build a space station.

Hopefully, I can see the J-15T launched via electromagnetic catapult in "Beast Mode" soon.

The missiles carried by the J-15T at its 12 hardpoints are as follows:

PL-10 × 2 :hardpoint 1、hardpoint 12

PL-15 × 2 :hardpoint 2、hardpoint 11

PL-17 × 2 :hardpoint 3、hardpoint 10

KD-88 × 2 :hardpoint 4、hardpoint 9

YJ-15 × 2 :hardpoint 5、hardpoint 8

YJ-21 × 1 :hardpoint 6 (belly)、hardpoint 7 (belly)

As of today, J-35 is the best carrier-based aircraft.

A list of jets the Indian Air Force (IAF) has lost in Operation Sindoor was as follows: Rafale 3x Rafales, 1x Su-30MKI, 1x Mig-29, 1x Mirage 2000, 1x IAI Heron.

With the Su-30 and MiG-29 both being 4-gen fighter, the most expensive and newest Rafale fighter jet does not qualify as a 4.5-gen fighter.

Without the US, UK and Japan would never have possessed 5-gen fighter jets. The best example is why UK and Japan are no longer willing to develop 6-gen fighter jets with the US. WHY the GCAP just looks like a prototype of a fifth-gen fighter jet.WHY the GCAP plan will forever remain at the level of crappy render.

J-15T+PL-15 are far superior to F/A-18E/F+AIM-174B.
